But he hearkened{H8085}{(H8804)} not to him: so Irijah{H3376} took{H8610}{(H8799)} Jeremiah{H3414}, and brought{H935}{(H8686)} him to the princes{H8269}. 15 Wherefore the princes{H8269} were wroth{H7107}{(H8799)} with Jeremiah{H3414}, and smote{H5221}{(H8689)} him, and put{H5414}{(H8804)} him in prison{H612} in the house{H1004} of Jonathan{H3083} the scribe{H5608}{(H8802)}: for they had made{H6213}{(H8804)} that the prison{H3608}. 16 When Jeremiah{H3414} was entered{H935}{(H8804)} into the dungeon{H1004}{H953}, and into the cabins{H2588}, and Jeremiah{H3414} had remained{H3427}{(H8799)} there many{H7227} days{H3117}; 17 Then Zedekiah{H6667} the king{H4428} sent{H7971}{(H8799)}, and took him out{H3947}{(H8799)}: and the king{H4428} asked{H7592}{(H8799)} him secretly{H5643} in his house{H1004}, and said{H559}{(H8799)}, Is there any word{H1697} from the LORD{H3068}? And Jeremiah{H3414} said{H559}{(H8799)}, There is{H3426}: for, said{H559}{(H8799)} he, thou shalt be delivered{H5414}{(H8735)} into the hand{H3027} of the king{H4428} of Babylon{H894}. 18 Moreover Jeremiah{H3414} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto king{H4428} Zedekiah{H6667}, What have I offended{H2398}{(H8804)} against thee, or against thy servants{H5650}, or against this people{H5971}, that ye have put{H5414}{(H8804)} me in prison{H1004}{H3608}? 19 Where are now{H346} your prophets{H5030} which prophesied{H5012}{(H8738)} unto you, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, The king{H4428} of Babylon{H894} shall not come{H935}{(H8799)} against you, nor against this land{H776}? 20 Therefore hear{H8085}{(H8798)} now, I pray thee, O my lord{H113} the king{H4428}: let my supplication{H8467}, I pray thee, be accepted{H5307}{(H8799)} before{H6440} thee; that thou cause me not to return{H7725}{(H8686)} to the house{H1004} of Jonathan{H3083} the scribe{H5608}{(H8802)}, lest I die{H4191}{(H8799)} there. 21 Then Zedekiah{H6667} the king{H4428} commanded{H6680}{(H8762)} that they should commit{H6485}{(H8686)} Jeremiah{H3414} into the court{H2691} of the prison{H4307}, and that they should give{H5414}{(H8800)} him daily{H3117} a piece{H3603} of bread{H3899} out of the bakers{H644}{(H8802)}' street{H2351}, until all the bread{H3899} in the city{H5892} were spent{H8552}{(H8800)}. Thus Jeremiah{H3414} remained{H3427}{(H8799)} in the court{H2691} of the prison{H4307}.
Jer 38:14-28 : 14 Then Zedekiah{H6667} the king{H4428} sent{H7971}{(H8799)}, and took{H3947}{(H8799)} Jeremiah{H3414} the prophet{H5030} unto him into the third{H7992} entry{H3996} that is in the house{H1004} of the LORD{H3068}: and the king{H4428} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto Jeremiah{H3414}, I will ask{H7592}{(H8802)} thee a thing{H1697}; hide{H3582}{(H8762)} nothing from me. 15 Then Jeremiah{H3414} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto Zedekiah{H6667}, If I declare{H5046}{(H8686)} it unto thee, wilt thou not surely{H4191}{(H8687)} put me to death{H4191}{(H8686)}? and if I give thee counsel{H3289}{(H8799)}, wilt thou not hearken{H8085}{(H8799)} unto me? 16 So Zedekiah{H6667} the king{H4428} sware{H7650}{(H8735)} secretly{H5643} unto Jeremiah{H3414}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, As the LORD{H3068} liveth{H2416}, that made{H6213}{(H8804)} us this soul{H5315}, I will not put thee to death{H4191}{(H8686)}, neither will I give{H5414}{(H8799)} thee into the hand{H3027} of these men{H582} that seek{H1245}{(H8764)} thy life{H5315}. 17 Then said{H559}{(H8799)} Jeremiah{H3414} unto Zedekiah{H6667}, Thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068}, the God{H430} of hosts{H6635}, the God{H430} of Israel{H3478}; If thou wilt assuredly{H3318}{(H8800)} go forth{H3318}{(H8799)} unto the king{H4428} of Babylon's{H894} princes{H8269}, then thy soul{H5315} shall live{H2421}{(H8804)}, and this city{H5892} shall not be burned{H8313}{(H8735)} with fire{H784}; and thou shalt live{H2421}{(H8804)}, and thine house{H1004}: 18 But if thou wilt not go forth{H3318}{(H8799)} to the king{H4428} of Babylon's{H894} princes{H8269}, then shall this city{H5892} be given{H5414}{(H8738)} into the hand{H3027} of the Chaldeans{H3778}, and they shall burn{H8313}{(H8804)} it with fire{H784}, and thou shalt not escape out{H4422}{(H8735)} of their hand{H3027}. 19 And Zedekiah{H6667} the king{H4428} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto Jeremiah{H3414}, I am afraid{H1672}{(H8802)} of the Jews{H3064} that are fallen{H5307}{(H8804)} to the Chaldeans{H3778}, lest they deliver{H5414}{(H8799)} me into their hand{H3027}, and they mock{H5953}{(H8694)} me. 20 But Jeremiah{H3414} said{H559}{(H8799)}, They shall not deliver{H5414}{(H8799)} thee. Obey{H8085}{(H8798)}, I beseech thee, the voice{H6963} of the LORD{H3068}, which I speak{H1696}{(H8802)} unto thee: so it shall be well{H3190}{(H8799)} unto thee, and thy soul{H5315} shall live{H2421}{(H8799)}. 21 But if thou refuse{H3986} to go forth{H3318}{(H8800)}, this is the word{H1697} that the LORD{H3068} hath shewed{H7200}{(H8689)} me: 22 And, behold, all the women{H802} that are left{H7604}{(H8738)} in the king{H4428} of Judah's{H3063} house{H1004} shall be brought forth{H3318}{(H8716)} to the king{H4428} of Babylon's{H894} princes{H8269}, and those women shall say{H559}{(H8802)}, Thy friends{H582}{H7965} have set thee on{H5496}{(H8689)}, and have prevailed{H3201}{(H8804)} against thee: thy feet{H7272} are sunk{H2883}{(H8717)} in the mire{H1206}, and they are turned away{H5472}{(H8738)} back{H268}. 23 So they shall bring out{H3318}{(H8688)} all thy wives{H802} and thy children{H1121} to the Chaldeans{H3778}: and thou shalt not escape out{H4422}{(H8735)} of their hand{H3027}, but shalt be taken{H8610}{(H8735)} by the hand{H3027} of the king{H4428} of Babylon{H894}: and thou shalt cause this city{H5892} to be burned{H8313}{(H8799)} with fire{H784}. 24 Then said{H559}{(H8799)} Zedekiah{H6667} unto Jeremiah{H3414}, Let no man{H376} know{H3045}{(H8799)} of these words{H1697}, and thou shalt not die{H4191}{(H8799)}. 25 But if the princes{H8269} hear{H8085}{(H8799)} that I have talked{H1696}{(H8765)} with thee, and they come{H935}{(H8804)} unto thee, and say{H559}{(H8804)} unto thee, Declare{H5046}{(H8685)} unto us now what thou hast said{H1696}{(H8765)} unto the king{H4428}, hide{H3582}{(H8762)} it not from us, and we will not put thee to death{H4191}{(H8686)}; also what the king{H4428} said{H1696}{(H8765)} unto thee: 26 Then thou shalt say{H559}{(H8804)} unto them, I presented{H5307}{(H8688)} my supplication{H8467} before{H6440} the king{H4428}, that he would not cause me to return{H7725}{(H8687)} to Jonathan's{H3083} house{H1004}, to die{H4191}{(H8800)} there. 27 Then came{H935}{(H8799)} all the princes{H8269} unto Jeremiah{H3414}, and asked{H7592}{(H8799)} him: and he told{H5046}{(H8686)} them according to all these words{H1697} that the king{H4428} had commanded{H6680}{(H8765)}. So they left off speaking{H2790}{(H8686)} with him; for the matter{H1697} was not perceived{H8085}{(H8738)}. 28 So Jeremiah{H3414} abode{H3427}{(H8799)} in the court{H2691} of the prison{H4307} until the day{H3117} that Jerusalem{H3389} was taken{H3920}{(H8738)}: and he was there when Jerusalem{H3389} was taken{H3920}{(H8738)}.
Dan 5:22-23 : 22 And thou{H607} his son{H1247}, O Belshazzar{H1113}, hast not{H3809} humbled{H8214}{(H8684)} thine heart{H3825}, though{H6903} thou knewest{H3046}{(H8754)} all{H3606} this{H1836}; 23 But hast lifted up{H7313}{(H8712)} thyself against{H5922} the Lord{H4756} of heaven{H8065}; and they have brought{H858}{(H8684)} the vessels{H3984} of his house{H1005} before{H6925} thee, and thou{H607}, and thy lords{H7261}, thy wives{H7695}, and thy concubines{H3904}, have drunk{H8355}{(H8750)} wine{H2562} in them; and thou hast praised{H7624}{(H8745)} the gods{H426} of silver{H3702}, and gold{H1722}, of brass{H5174}, iron{H6523}, wood{H636}, and stone{H69}, which see{H2370}{(H8751)} not{H3809}, nor{H3809} hear{H8086}{(H8750)}, nor{H3809} know{H3046}{(H8751)}: and the God{H426} in whose hand{H3028} thy breath{H5396} is, and whose are all{H3606} thy ways{H735}, hast thou not{H3809} glorified{H1922}{(H8745)}:

Jer 27:12-28:17 : 12 I spake{H1696}{(H8765)} also to Zedekiah{H6667} king{H4428} of Judah{H3063} according to all these words{H1697}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, Bring{H935}{(H8685)} your necks{H6677} under the yoke{H5923} of the king{H4428} of Babylon{H894}, and serve{H5647}{(H8798)} him and his people{H5971}, and live{H2421}{(H8798)}. 13 Why will ye die{H4191}{(H8799)}, thou and thy people{H5971}, by the sword{H2719}, by the famine{H7458}, and by the pestilence{H1698}, as the LORD{H3068} hath spoken{H1696}{(H8765)} against the nation{H1471} that will not serve{H5647}{(H8799)} the king{H4428} of Babylon{H894}? 14 Therefore hearken{H8085}{(H8799)} not unto the words{H1697} of the prophets{H5030} that speak{H559}{(H8802)} unto you, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, Ye shall not serve{H5647}{(H8799)} the king{H4428} of Babylon{H894}: for they prophesy{H5012}{(H8737)} a lie{H8267} unto you. 15 For I have not sent{H7971}{(H8804)} them, saith{H5002}{(H8803)} the LORD{H3068}, yet they prophesy{H5012}{(H8737)} a lie{H8267} in my name{H8034}; that I might drive you out{H5080}{(H8687)}, and that ye might perish{H6}{(H8804)}, ye, and the prophets{H5030} that prophesy{H5012}{(H8737)} unto you. 16 Also I spake{H1696}{(H8765)} to the priests{H3548} and to all this people{H5971}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, Thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068}; Hearken{H8085}{(H8799)} not to the words{H1697} of your prophets{H5030} that prophesy{H5012}{(H8737)} unto you, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, Behold, the vessels{H3627} of the LORD'S{H3068} house{H1004} shall now shortly{H4120} be brought again{H7725}{(H8716)} from Babylon{H894}: for they prophesy{H5012}{(H8737)} a lie{H8267} unto you. 17 Hearken{H8085}{(H8799)} not unto them; serve{H5647}{(H8798)} the king{H4428} of Babylon{H894}, and live{H2421}{(H8798)}: wherefore should this city{H5892} be laid waste{H2723}? 18 But if they be prophets{H5030}, and if the word{H1697} of the LORD{H3068} be{H3426} with them, let them now make intercession{H6293}{(H8799)} to the LORD{H3068} of hosts{H6635}, that the vessels{H3627} which are left{H3498}{(H8737)} in the house{H1004} of the LORD{H3068}, and in the house{H1004} of the king{H4428} of Judah{H3063}, and at Jerusalem{H3389}, go{H935}{(H8804)} not to Babylon{H894}. 19 For thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068} of hosts{H6635} concerning the pillars{H5982}, and concerning the sea{H3220}, and concerning the bases{H4350}, and concerning the residue{H3499} of the vessels{H3627} that remain{H3498}{(H8737)} in this city{H5892}, 20 Which Nebuchadnezzar{H5019} king{H4428} of Babylon{H894} took{H3947}{(H8804)} not, when he carried away captive{H1540}{(H8687)} Jeconiah{H3204} the son{H1121} of Jehoiakim{H3079} king{H4428} of Judah{H3063} from Jerusalem{H3389} to Babylon{H894}, and all the nobles{H2715} of Judah{H3063} and Jerusalem{H3389}; 21 Yea, thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068} of hosts{H6635}, the God{H430} of Israel{H3478}, concerning the vessels{H3627} that remain{H3498}{(H8737)} in the house{H1004} of the LORD{H3068}, and in the house{H1004} of the king{H4428} of Judah{H3063} and of Jerusalem{H3389}; 22 They shall be carried{H935}{(H8714)} to Babylon{H894}, and there shall they be until the day{H3117} that I visit{H6485}{(H8800)} them, saith{H5002}{(H8803)} the LORD{H3068}; then will I bring{H5927}{(H8689)} them up, and restore{H7725}{(H8689)} them to this place{H4725}. 1 And it came to pass the same year{H8141}, in the beginning{H7225} of the reign{H4467} of Zedekiah{H6667} king{H4428} of Judah{H3063}, in the fourth{H7243} year{H8141}, and in the fifth{H2549} month{H2320}, that Hananiah{H2608} the son{H1121} of Azur{H5809} the prophet{H5030}, which was of Gibeon{H1391}, spake{H559}{(H8804)} unto me in the house{H1004} of the LORD{H3068}, in the presence{H5869} of the priests{H3548} and of all the people{H5971}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, 2 Thus speaketh{H559}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068} of hosts{H6635}, the God{H430} of Israel{H3478}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, I have broken{H7665}{(H8804)} the yoke{H5923} of the king{H4428} of Babylon{H894}. 3 Within two full{H3117} years{H8141} will I bring again{H7725}{(H8688)} into this place{H4725} all the vessels{H3627} of the LORD'S{H3068} house{H1004}, that Nebuchadnezzar{H5019} king{H4428} of Babylon{H894} took away{H3947}{(H8804)} from this place{H4725}, and carried{H935}{(H8686)} them to Babylon{H894}: 4 And I will bring again{H7725}{(H8688)} to this place{H4725} Jeconiah{H3204} the son{H1121} of Jehoiakim{H3079} king{H4428} of Judah{H3063}, with all the captives{H1546} of Judah{H3063}, that went{H935}{(H8802)} into Babylon{H894}, saith{H5002}{(H8803)} the LORD{H3068}: for I will break{H7665}{(H8799)} the yoke{H5923} of the king{H4428} of Babylon{H894}. 5 Then the prophet{H5030} Jeremiah{H3414} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto the prophet{H5030} Hananiah{H2608} in the presence{H5869} of the priests{H3548}, and in the presence{H5869} of all the people{H5971} that stood{H5975}{(H8802)} in the house{H1004} of the LORD{H3068}, 6 Even the prophet{H5030} Jeremiah{H3414} said{H559}{(H8799)}, Amen{H543}: the LORD{H3068} do{H6213}{(H8799)} so: the LORD{H3068} perform{H6965}{(H8686)} thy words{H1697} which thou hast prophesied{H5012}{(H8738)}, to bring again{H7725}{(H8687)} the vessels{H3627} of the LORD'S{H3068} house{H1004}, and all that is carried away captive{H1473}, from Babylon{H894} into this place{H4725}. 7 Nevertheless hear{H8085}{(H8798)} thou now this word{H1697} that I speak{H1696}{(H8802)} in thine ears{H241}, and in the ears{H241} of all the people{H5971}; 8 The prophets{H5030} that have been before{H6440} me and before{H6440} thee of old{H5769} prophesied{H5012}{(H8735)} both against many{H7227} countries{H776}, and against great{H1419} kingdoms{H4467}, of war{H4421}, and of evil{H7451}, and of pestilence{H1698}. 9 The prophet{H5030} which prophesieth{H5012}{(H8735)} of peace{H7965}, when the word{H1697} of the prophet{H5030} shall come to pass{H935}{(H8800)}, then{H227} shall the prophet{H5030} be known{H3045}{(H8735)}, that the LORD{H3068} hath truly{H571} sent{H7971}{(H8804)} him. 10 Then Hananiah{H2608} the prophet{H5030} took{H3947}{(H8799)} the yoke{H4133} from off the prophet{H5030} Jeremiah's{H3414} neck{H6677}, and brake{H7665}{(H8799)} it. 11 And Hananiah{H2608} spake{H559}{(H8799)} in the presence{H5869} of all the people{H5971}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, Thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068}; Even so will I break{H7665}{(H8799)} the yoke{H5923} of Nebuchadnezzar{H5019} king{H4428} of Babylon{H894} from the neck{H6677} of all nations{H1471} within the space of two full{H3117} years{H8141}. And the prophet{H5030} Jeremiah{H3414} went{H3212}{(H8799)} his way{H1870}. 12 Then the word{H1697} of the LORD{H3068} came unto Jeremiah{H3414} the prophet, after{H310} that Hananiah{H2608} the prophet{H5030} had broken{H7665}{(H8800)} the yoke{H4133} from off the neck{H6677} of the prophet{H5030} Jeremiah{H3414}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, 13 Go{H1980}{(H8800)} and tell{H559}{(H8804)} Hananiah{H2608}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, Thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068}; Thou hast broken{H7665}{(H8804)} the yokes{H4133} of wood{H6086}; but thou shalt make{H6213}{(H8804)} for them yokes{H4133} of iron{H1270}. 14 For thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068} of hosts{H6635}, the God{H430} of Israel{H3478}; I have put{H5414}{(H8804)} a yoke{H5923} of iron{H1270} upon the neck{H6677} of all these nations{H1471}, that they may serve{H5647}{(H8800)} Nebuchadnezzar{H5019} king{H4428} of Babylon{H894}; and they shall serve{H5647}{(H8804)} him: and I have given{H5414}{(H8804)} him the beasts{H2416} of the field{H7704} also. 15 Then said{H559}{(H8799)} the prophet{H5030} Jeremiah{H3414} unto Hananiah{H2608} the prophet{H5030}, Hear{H8085}{(H8798)} now, Hananiah{H2608}; The LORD{H3068} hath not sent{H7971}{(H8804)} thee; but thou makest this people{H5971} to trust{H982}{(H8689)} in a lie{H8267}. 16 Therefore thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068}; Behold, I will cast{H7971}{(H8764)} thee from off the face{H6440} of the earth{H127}: this year{H8141} thou shalt die{H4191}{(H8801)}, because thou hast taught{H1696}{(H8765)} rebellion{H5627} against the LORD{H3068}. 17 So Hananiah{H2608} the prophet{H5030} died{H4191}{(H8799)} the same year{H8141} in the seventh{H7637} month{H2320}.
Jer 34:2-9 : 2 Thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068}, the God{H430} of Israel{H3478}; Go{H1980}{(H8800)} and speak{H559}{(H8804)} to Zedekiah{H6667} king{H4428} of Judah{H3063}, and tell{H559}{(H8804)} him, Thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068}; Behold, I will give{H5414}{(H8802)} this city{H5892} into the hand{H3027} of the king{H4428} of Babylon{H894}, and he shall burn{H8313}{(H8804)} it with fire{H784}: 3 And thou shalt not escape out{H4422}{(H8735)} of his hand{H3027}, but shalt surely{H8610}{(H8800)} be taken{H8610}{(H8735)}, and delivered{H5414}{(H8735)} into his hand{H3027}; and thine eyes{H5869} shall behold{H7200}{(H8799)} the eyes{H5869} of the king{H4428} of Babylon{H894}, and he shall speak{H1696}{(H8762)} with thee mouth{H6310} to mouth{H6310}, and thou shalt go{H935}{(H8799)} to Babylon{H894}. 4 Yet hear{H8085}{(H8798)} the word{H1697} of the LORD{H3068}, O Zedekiah{H6667} king{H4428} of Judah{H3063}; Thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068} of thee, Thou shalt not die{H4191}{(H8799)} by the sword{H2719}: 5 But thou shalt die{H4191}{(H8799)} in peace{H7965}: and with the burnings{H4955} of thy fathers{H1}, the former{H7223} kings{H4428} which were before{H6440} thee, so shall they burn{H8313}{(H8799)} odours for thee; and they will lament{H5594}{(H8799)} thee, saying, Ah{H1945} lord{H113}! for I have pronounced{H1696}{(H8765)} the word{H1697}, saith{H5002}{(H8803)} the LORD{H3068}. 6 Then Jeremiah{H3414} the prophet{H5030} spake{H1696}{(H8762)} all these words{H1697} unto Zedekiah{H6667} king{H4428} of Judah{H3063} in Jerusalem{H3389}, 7 When the king{H4428} of Babylon's{H894} army{H2428} fought{H3898}{(H8737)} against Jerusalem{H3389}, and against all the cities{H5892} of Judah{H3063} that were left{H3498}{(H8737)}, against Lachish{H3923}, and against Azekah{H5825}: for these defenced{H4013} cities{H5892} remained{H7604}{(H8738)} of the cities{H5892} of Judah{H3063}. 8 This is the word{H1697} that came unto Jeremiah{H3414} from the LORD{H3068}, after{H310} that the king{H4428} Zedekiah{H6667} had made{H3772}{(H8800)} a covenant{H1285} with all the people{H5971} which were at Jerusalem{H3389}, to proclaim{H7121}{(H8800)} liberty{H1865} unto them; 9 That every man{H376} should let his manservant{H5650}, and every man{H376} his maidservant{H8198}, being an Hebrew{H5680} or an Hebrewess{H5680}, go{H7971}{(H8763)} free{H2670}; that none should serve{H5647}{(H8800)} himself of them, to wit, of a Jew{H3064} his brother{H251}. 10 Now when all the princes{H8269}, and all the people{H5971}, which had entered{H935}{(H8804)} into the covenant{H1285}, heard{H8085}{(H8799)} that every one{H376} should let his manservant{H5650}, and every one{H376} his maidservant{H8198}, go{H7971}{(H8763)} free{H2670}, that none should serve{H5647}{(H8800)} themselves of them any more, then they obeyed{H8085}{(H8799)}, and let them go{H7971}{(H8762)}. 11 But afterward{H310} they turned{H7725}{(H8799)}, and caused the servants{H5650} and the handmaids{H8198}, whom they had let go{H7971}{(H8765)} free{H2670}, to return{H7725}{(H8686)}, and brought them into subjection{H3533}{(H8799)}{(H8675)}{H3533}{(H8686)} for servants{H5650} and for handmaids{H8198}. 12 Therefore the word{H1697} of the LORD{H3068} came to Jeremiah{H3414} from the LORD{H3068}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, 13 Thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068}, the God{H430} of Israel{H3478}; I made{H3772}{(H8804)} a covenant{H1285} with your fathers{H1} in the day{H3117} that I brought them forth{H3318}{(H8687)} out of the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}, out of the house{H1004} of bondmen{H5650}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, 14 At the end{H7093} of seven{H7651} years{H8141} let ye go{H7971}{(H8762)} every man{H376} his brother{H251} an Hebrew{H5680}, which hath been sold{H4376}{(H8735)} unto thee; and when he hath served{H5647}{(H8804)} thee six{H8337} years{H8141}, thou shalt let him go{H7971}{(H8765)} free{H2670} from thee: but your fathers{H1} hearkened{H8085}{(H8804)} not unto me, neither inclined{H5186}{(H8689)} their ear{H241}. 15 And ye were now{H3117} turned{H7725}{(H8799)}, and had done{H6213}{(H8799)} right{H3477} in my sight{H5869}, in proclaiming{H7121}{(H8800)} liberty{H1865} every man{H376} to his neighbour{H7453}; and ye had made{H3772}{(H8799)} a covenant{H1285} before{H6440} me in the house{H1004} which is called{H7121}{(H8738)} by my name{H8034}: 16 But ye turned{H7725}{(H8799)} and polluted{H2490}{(H8762)} my name{H8034}, and caused every man{H376} his servant{H5650}, and every man{H376} his handmaid{H8198}, whom ye had set{H7971}{(H8765)} at liberty{H2670} at their pleasure{H5315}, to return{H7725}{(H8686)}, and brought them into subjection{H3533}{(H8799)}, to be unto you for servants{H5650} and for handmaids{H8198}. 17 Therefore thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068}; Ye have not hearkened{H8085}{(H8804)} unto me, in proclaiming{H7121}{(H8800)} liberty{H1865}, every one{H376} to his brother{H251}, and every man{H376} to his neighbour{H7453}: behold, I proclaim{H7121}{(H8802)} a liberty{H1865} for you, saith{H5002}{(H8803)} the LORD{H3068}, to the sword{H2719}, to the pestilence{H1698}, and to the famine{H7458}; and I will make{H5414}{(H8804)} you to be removed{H2189}{(H8675)}{H2113} into all the kingdoms{H4467} of the earth{H776}. 18 And I will give{H5414}{(H8804)} the men{H582} that have transgressed{H5674}{(H8802)} my covenant{H1285}, which have not performed{H6965}{(H8689)} the words{H1697} of the covenant{H1285} which they had made{H3772}{(H8804)} before{H6440} me, when they cut{H3772}{(H8804)} the calf{H5695} in twain{H8147}, and passed{H5674}{(H8799)} between the parts{H1335} thereof, 19 The princes{H8269} of Judah{H3063}, and the princes{H8269} of Jerusalem{H3389}, the eunuchs{H5631}, and the priests{H3548}, and all the people{H5971} of the land{H776}, which passed{H5674}{(H8802)} between the parts{H1335} of the calf{H5695}; 20 I will even give{H5414}{(H8804)} them into the hand{H3027} of their enemies{H341}{(H8802)}, and into the hand{H3027} of them that seek{H1245}{(H8764)} their life{H5315}: and their dead bodies{H5038} shall be for meat{H3978} unto the fowls{H5775} of the heaven{H8064}, and to the beasts{H929} of the earth{H776}. 21 And Zedekiah{H6667} king{H4428} of Judah{H3063} and his princes{H8269} will I give{H5414}{(H8799)} into the hand{H3027} of their enemies{H341}{(H8802)}, and into the hand{H3027} of them that seek{H1245}{(H8764)} their life{H5315}, and into the hand{H3027} of the king{H4428} of Babylon's{H894} army{H2428}, which are gone up{H5927}{(H8802)} from you. 22 Behold, I will command{H6680}{(H8764)}, saith{H5002}{(H8803)} the LORD{H3068}, and cause them to return{H7725}{(H8689)} to this city{H5892}; and they shall fight{H3898}{(H8738)} against it, and take{H3920}{(H8804)} it, and burn{H8313}{(H8804)} it with fire{H784}: and I will make{H5414}{(H8799)} the cities{H5892} of Judah{H3063} a desolation{H8077} without an inhabitant{H3427}{(H8802)}.
Exod 10:3 : 3 And Moses{H4872} and Aaron{H175} came in{H935}{(H8799)} unto Pharaoh{H6547}, and said{H559}{(H8799)} unto him, Thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068} God{H430} of the Hebrews{H5680}, How long{H4970} wilt thou refuse{H3985}{(H8765)} to humble{H6031}{(H8736)} thyself before{H6440} me? let my people{H5971} go{H7971}{(H8761)}, that they may serve{H5647}{(H8799)} me.
2 Chr 32:26 : 26 Notwithstanding Hezekiah{H3169} humbled{H3665}{(H8735)} himself for the pride{H1363} of his heart{H3820}, both he and the inhabitants{H3427}{(H8802)} of Jerusalem{H3389}, so that the wrath{H7110} of the LORD{H3068} came{H935}{(H8804)} not upon them in the days{H3117} of Hezekiah{H3169}.
2 Chr 33:12 : 12 And when he was in affliction{H6887}{(H8687)}, he besought{H2470}{(H8765)} the LORD{H3068} his God{H430}, and humbled{H3665}{(H8735)} himself greatly{H3966} before{H6440} the God{H430} of his fathers{H1},
2 Chr 33:19 : 19 His prayer{H8605} also, and how God was intreated{H6279}{(H8736)} of him, and all his sin{H2403}, and his trespass{H4604}, and the places{H4725} wherein he built{H1129}{(H8804)} high places{H1116}, and set up{H5975}{(H8689)} groves{H842} and graven images{H6456}, before{H6440} he was humbled{H3665}{(H8736)}: behold, they are written{H3789}{(H8803)} among the sayings{H1697} of the seers{H2374}{(H8676)}{H2335}.
