Verse 13

Jehu{H3058} met{H4672}{(H8804)} with the brethren{H251} of Ahaziah{H274} king{H4428} of Judah{H3063}, and said{H559}{(H8799)}, Who are ye? And they answered{H559}{(H8799)}, We are the brethren{H251} of Ahaziah{H274}; and we go down{H3381}{(H8799)} to salute{H7965} the children{H1121} of the king{H4428} and the children{H1121} of the queen{H1377}.

And Azariah{H5838} the son{H1121} of Jehoram{H3088} king{H4428} of Judah{H3063} went down{H3381}{(H8804)} to see{H7200}{(H8800)} Jehoram{H3088} the son{H1121} of Ahab{H256} at Jezreel{H3157}, because he was sick{H2470}{(H8802)}. 7 And the destruction{H8395} of Ahaziah{H274} was of God{H430} by coming{H935}{(H8800)} to Joram{H3141}: for when he was come{H935}{(H8800)}, he went out{H3318}{(H8804)} with Jehoram{H3088} against Jehu{H3058} the son{H1121} of Nimshi{H5250}, whom the LORD{H3068} had anointed{H4886}{(H8804)} to cut off{H3772}{(H8687)} the house{H1004} of Ahab{H256}. 8 And it came to pass, that, when Jehu{H3058} was executing judgment{H8199}{(H8736)} upon the house{H1004} of Ahab{H256}, and found{H4672}{(H8799)} the princes{H8269} of Judah{H3063}, and the sons{H1121} of the brethren{H251} of Ahaziah{H274}, that ministered{H8334}{(H8764)} to Ahaziah{H274}, he slew{H2026}{(H8799)} them. 9 And he sought{H1245}{(H8762)} Ahaziah{H274}: and they caught{H3920}{(H8799)} him,(for he was hid{H2244}{(H8693)} in Samaria{H8111},) and brought{H935}{(H8686)} him to Jehu{H3058}: and when they had slain{H4191}{(H8686)} him, they buried{H6912}{(H8799)} him: Because, said{H559}{(H8804)} they, he is the son{H1121} of Jehoshaphat{H3092}, who sought{H1875}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068} with all his heart{H3824}. And he answered{H559}{(H8799)}, What peace{H7965}, so long as{H5704} the whoredoms{H2183} of thy mother{H517} Jezebel{H348} and her witchcrafts{H3785} are so many{H7227}? 23 And Joram{H3088} turned{H2015}{(H8799)} his hands{H3027}, and fled{H5127}{(H8799)}, and said{H559}{(H8799)} to Ahaziah{H274}, There is treachery{H4820}, O Ahaziah{H274}. 24 And Jehu{H3058} drew a bow{H7198} with his full{H4390}{(H8765)} strength{H3027}, and smote{H5221}{(H8686)} Jehoram{H3088} between his arms{H2220}, and the arrow{H2678} went out{H3318}{(H8799)} at his heart{H3820}, and he sunk down{H3766}{(H8799)} in his chariot{H7393}. 25 Then said{H559}{(H8799)} Jehu to Bidkar{H920} his captain{H7991}, Take up{H5375}{(H8798)}, and cast{H7993}{(H8685)} him in the portion{H2513} of the field{H7704} of Naboth{H5022} the Jezreelite{H3158}: for remember{H2142}{(H8798)} how that, when I and thou rode{H7392}{(H8802)} together{H6776} after{H310} Ahab{H256} his father{H1}, the LORD{H3068} laid{H5375}{(H8804)} this burden{H4853} upon him; 26 Surely I have seen{H7200}{(H8804)} yesterday{H570} the blood{H1818} of Naboth{H5022}, and the blood{H1818} of his sons{H1121}, saith{H5002}{(H8803)} the LORD{H3068}; and I will requite{H7999}{(H8765)} thee in this plat{H2513}, saith{H5002}{(H8803)} the LORD{H3068}. Now therefore take{H5375}{(H8798)} and cast{H7993}{(H8685)} him into the plat{H2513} of ground, according to the word{H1697} of the LORD{H3068}. 27 But when Ahaziah{H274} the king{H4428} of Judah{H3063} saw{H7200}{(H8804)} this, he fled{H5127}{(H8799)} by the way{H1870} of the garden{H1588} house{H1004}. And Jehu{H3058} followed{H7291}{(H8799)} after{H310} him, and said{H559}{(H8799)}, Smite{H5221}{(H8685)} him also in the chariot{H4818}. And they did so at the going up{H4608} to Gur{H1483}, which is by Ibleam{H2991}. And he fled{H5127}{(H8799)} to Megiddo{H4023}, and died{H4191}{(H8799)} there.
