And as Jehu{H3058} entered in{H935}{(H8804)} at the gate{H8179}, she said{H559}{(H8799)}, Had Zimri{H2174} peace{H7965}, who slew{H2026}{(H8802)} his master{H113}?

And the people{H5971} were encamped{H2583}{(H8802)} against Gibbethon{H1405}, which belonged to the Philistines{H6430}. 16 And the people{H5971} that were encamped{H2583}{(H8802)} heard{H8085}{(H8799)} say{H559}{(H8800)}, Zimri{H2174} hath conspired{H7194}{(H8804)}, and hath also slain{H5221}{(H8689)} the king{H4428}: wherefore all Israel{H3478} made Omri{H6018}, the captain{H8269} of the host{H6635}, king{H4427}{(H8686)} over Israel{H3478} that day{H3117} in the camp{H4264}. 17 And Omri{H6018} went up{H5927}{(H8799)} from Gibbethon{H1405}, and all Israel{H3478} with him, and they besieged{H6696}{(H8799)} Tirzah{H8656}. 18 And it came to pass, when Zimri{H2174} saw{H7200}{(H8800)} that the city{H5892} was taken{H3920}{(H8738)}, that he went{H935}{(H8799)} into the palace{H759} of the king's{H4428} house{H1004}, and burnt{H8313}{(H8799)} the king's{H4428} house{H1004} over him with fire{H784}, and died{H4191}{(H8799)}, 19 For his sins{H2403} which he sinned{H2398}{(H8804)} in doing{H6213}{(H8800)} evil{H7451} in the sight{H5869} of the LORD{H3068}, in walking{H3212}{(H8800)} in the way{H1870} of Jeroboam{H3379}, and in his sin{H2403} which he did{H6213}{(H8804)}, to make Israel{H3478} to sin{H2398}{(H8687)}. 20 Now the rest{H3499} of the acts{H1697} of Zimri{H2174}, and his treason{H7195} that he wrought{H7194}{(H8804)}, are they not written{H3789}{(H8803)} in the book{H5612} of the chronicles{H1697}{H3117} of the kings{H4428} of Israel{H3478}?
