16 Then all the princes{H5387} of the sea{H3220} shall come down{H3381}{(H8804)} from their thrones{H3678}, and lay away{H5493}{(H8689)} their robes{H4598}, and put off{H6584}{(H8799)} their broidered{H7553} garments{H899}: they shall clothe{H3847}{(H8799)} themselves with trembling{H2731}; they shall sit{H3427}{(H8799)} upon the ground{H776}, and shall tremble{H2729}{(H8804)} at every moment{H7281}, and be astonished{H8074}{(H8804)} at thee. 17 And they shall take up{H5375}{(H8804)} a lamentation{H7015} for thee, and say{H559}{(H8804)} to thee, How art thou destroyed{H6}{(H8804)}, that wast inhabited{H3427}{(H8737)} of seafaring men{H3220}, the renowned{H1984}{(H8794)} city{H5892}, which wast strong{H2389} in the sea{H3220}, she and her inhabitants{H3427}{(H8802)}, which cause{H5414}{(H8804)} their terror{H2851} to be on all that haunt{H3427}{(H8802)} it! 18 Now shall the isles{H339} tremble{H2729}{(H8799)} in the day{H3117} of thy fall{H4658}; yea, the isles{H339} that are in the sea{H3220} shall be troubled{H926}{(H8738)} at thy departure{H3318}{(H8800)}. 19 For thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the Lord{H136} GOD{H3069}; When I shall make{H5414}{(H8800)} thee a desolate{H2717}{(H8737)} city{H5892}, like the cities{H5892} that are not inhabited{H3427}{(H8738)}; when I shall bring up{H5927}{(H8687)} the deep{H8415} upon thee, and great{H7227} waters{H4325} shall cover{H3680}{(H8765)} thee; 20 When I shall bring thee down{H3381}{(H8689)} with them that descend{H3381}{(H8802)} into the pit{H953}, with the people{H5971} of old time{H5769}, and shall set{H3427}{(H8689)} thee in the low parts{H8482} of the earth{H776}, in places desolate{H2723} of old{H5769}, with them that go down{H3381}{(H8802)} to the pit{H953}, that thou be not inhabited{H3427}{(H8799)}; and I shall set{H5414}{(H8804)} glory{H6643} in the land{H776} of the living{H2416}; 21 I will make{H5414}{(H8799)} thee a terror{H1091}, and thou shalt be no more: though thou be sought for{H1245}{(H8792)}, yet shalt thou never{H5769} be found{H4672}{(H8735)} again, saith{H5002}{(H8803)} the Lord{H136} GOD{H3069}.
Ezek 35:10-15 : 10 Because thou hast said{H559}{(H8800)}, These two{H8147} nations{H1471} and these two{H8147} countries{H776} shall be mine, and we will possess{H3423}{(H8804)} it; whereas the LORD{H3068} was there: 11 Therefore, as I live{H2416}, saith{H5002}{(H8803)} the Lord{H136} GOD{H3069}, I will even do{H6213}{(H8804)} according to thine anger{H639}, and according to thine envy{H7068} which thou hast used{H6213}{(H8804)} out of thy hatred{H8135} against them; and I will make myself known{H3045}{(H8738)} among them, when I have judged{H8199}{(H8799)} thee. 12 And thou shalt know{H3045}{(H8804)} that I am the LORD{H3068}, and that I have heard{H8085}{(H8804)} all thy blasphemies{H5007} which thou hast spoken{H559}{(H8804)} against the mountains{H2022} of Israel{H3478}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, They are laid desolate{H8074}{(H8804)}{(H8675)}{H8077}, they are given{H5414}{(H8738)} us to consume{H402}. 13 Thus with your mouth{H6310} ye have boasted{H1431}{(H8686)} against me, and have multiplied{H6280}{(H8689)} your words{H1697} against me: I have heard{H8085}{(H8804)} them. 14 Thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the Lord{H136} GOD{H3069}; When the whole earth{H776} rejoiceth{H8055}{(H8800)}, I will make{H6213}{(H8799)} thee desolate{H8077}. 15 As thou didst rejoice{H8057} at the inheritance{H5159} of the house{H1004} of Israel{H3478}, because it was desolate{H8074}{(H8804)}, so will I do{H6213}{(H8799)} unto thee: thou shalt be desolate{H8077}, O mount{H2022} Seir{H8165}, and all Idumea{H123}, even all of it: and they shall know{H3045}{(H8804)} that I am the LORD{H3068}.
