and ye shall rejoice{H8055}{(H8804)} before{H6440} the LORD{H3068} your God{H430} seven{H7651} days{H3117}. 41 And ye shall keep{H2287}{(H8804)} it a feast{H2282} unto the LORD{H3068} seven{H7651} days{H3117} in the year{H8141}. It shall be a statute{H2708} for ever{H5769} in your generations{H1755}: ye shall celebrate{H2287}{(H8799)} it in the seventh{H7637} month{H2320}. 42 Ye shall dwell{H3427}{(H8799)} in booths{H5521} seven{H7651} days{H3117}; all that are Israelites{H3478} born{H249} shall dwell{H3427}{(H8799)} in booths{H5521}: 43 That your generations{H1755} may know{H3045}{(H8799)} that I made the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478} to dwell{H3427}{(H8689)} in booths{H5521}, when I brought them out{H3318}{(H8687)} of the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}: I am the LORD{H3068} your God{H430}. 44 And Moses{H4872} declared{H1696}{(H8762)} unto the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478} the feasts{H4150} of the LORD{H3068}.

two{H8147} lambs{H3532} of the first{H1121} year{H8141} without spot{H8549} day by day{H3117}, for a continual{H8548} burnt offering{H5930}. 4 The one{H259} lamb{H3532} shalt thou offer{H6213}{(H8799)} in the morning{H1242}, and the other{H8145} lamb{H3532} shalt thou offer{H6213}{(H8799)} at even{H6153}; 5 And a tenth{H6224} part of an ephah{H374} of flour{H5560} for a meat offering{H4503}, mingled{H1101}{(H8803)} with the fourth{H7243} part of an hin{H1969} of beaten{H3795} oil{H8081}. 6 It is a continual{H8548} burnt offering{H5930}, which was ordained{H6213}{(H8803)} in mount{H2022} Sinai{H5514} for a sweet{H5207} savour{H7381}, a sacrifice made by fire{H801} unto the LORD{H3068}. 7 And the drink offering{H5262} thereof shall be the fourth{H7243} part of an hin{H1969} for the one{H259} lamb{H3532}: in the holy{H6944} place shalt thou cause the strong wine{H7941} to be poured{H5258}{(H8685)} unto the LORD{H3068} for a drink offering{H5262}. 8 And the other{H8145} lamb{H3532} shalt thou offer{H6213}{(H8799)} at even{H6153}: as the meat offering{H4503} of the morning{H1242}, and as the drink offering{H5262} thereof, thou shalt offer{H6213}{(H8799)} it, a sacrifice made by fire{H801}, of a sweet{H5207} savour{H7381} unto the LORD{H3068}. 9 And on the sabbath{H7676} day{H3117} two{H8147} lambs{H3532} of the first{H1121} year{H8141} without spot{H8549}, and two{H8147} tenth{H6241} deals of flour{H5560} for a meat offering{H4503}, mingled{H1101}{(H8803)} with oil{H8081}, and the drink offering{H5262} thereof: 10 This is the burnt offering{H5930} of every sabbath{H7676}, beside the continual{H8548} burnt offering{H5930}, and his drink offering{H5262}. 11 And in the beginnings{H7218} of your months{H2320} ye shall offer{H7126}{(H8686)} a burnt offering{H5930} unto the LORD{H3068}; two{H8147} young{H1241} bullocks{H6499}, and one{H259} ram{H352}, seven{H7651} lambs{H3532} of the first{H1121} year{H8141} without spot{H8549}; 12 And three{H7969} tenth deals{H6241} of flour{H5560} for a meat offering{H4503}, mingled{H1101}{(H8803)} with oil{H8081}, for one{H259} bullock{H6499}; and two{H8147} tenth{H6241} deals of flour{H5560} for a meat offering{H4503}, mingled{H1101}{(H8803)} with oil{H8081}, for one{H259} ram{H352}; 13 And a several tenth deal{H6241} of flour{H5560} mingled{H1101}{(H8803)} with oil{H8081} for a meat offering{H4503} unto one{H259} lamb{H3532}; for a burnt offering{H5930} of a sweet{H5207} savour{H7381}, a sacrifice made by fire{H801} unto the LORD{H3068}. 14 And their drink offerings{H5262} shall be half{H2677} an hin{H1969} of wine{H3196} unto a bullock{H6499}, and the third{H7992} part of an hin{H1969} unto a ram{H352}, and a fourth{H7243} part of an hin{H1969} unto a lamb{H3532}: this is the burnt offering{H5930} of every month{H2320} throughout the months{H2320} of the year{H8141}. 15 And one{H259} kid{H8163} of the goats{H5795} for a sin offering{H2403} unto the LORD{H3068} shall be offered{H6213}{(H8735)}, beside the continual{H8548} burnt offering{H5930}, and his drink offering{H5262}. 16 And in the fourteenth{H702}{H6240} day{H3117} of the first{H7223} month{H2320} is the passover{H6453} of the LORD{H3068}. 17 And in the fifteenth{H2568}{H6240} day{H3117} of this month{H2320} is the feast{H2282}: seven{H7651} days{H3117} shall unleavened bread{H4682} be eaten{H398}{(H8735)}. 18 In the first{H7223} day{H3117} shall be an holy{H6944} convocation{H4744}; Deut 17:8-9 : 8 If there arise a matter{H1697} too hard{H6381}{(H8735)} for thee in judgment{H4941}, between blood{H1818} and blood{H1818}, between plea{H1779} and plea{H1779}, and between stroke{H5061} and stroke{H5061}, being matters{H1697} of controversy{H7379} within thy gates{H8179}: then shalt thou arise{H6965}{(H8804)}, and get thee up{H5927}{(H8804)} into the place{H4725} which the LORD{H3068} thy God{H430} shall choose{H977}{(H8799)}; 9 And thou shalt come{H935}{(H8804)} unto the priests{H3548} the Levites{H3881}, and unto the judge{H8199}{(H8802)} that shall be in those days{H3117}, and enquire{H1875}{(H8804)}; and they shall shew{H5046}{(H8689)} thee the sentence{H1697} of judgment{H4941}: 10 And thou shalt do{H6213}{(H8804)} according to the sentence{H6310}{H1697}, which they of that place{H4725} which the LORD{H3068} shall choose{H977}{(H8799)} shall shew{H5046}{(H8686)} thee; and thou shalt observe{H8104}{(H8804)} to do{H6213}{(H8800)} according to all that they inform{H3384}{(H8686)} thee: 11 According to the sentence{H6310} of the law{H8451} which they shall teach{H3384}{(H8686)} thee, and according to the judgment{H4941} which they shall tell{H559}{(H8799)} thee, thou shalt do{H6213}{(H8799)}: thou shalt not decline{H5493}{(H8799)} from the sentence{H1697} which they shall shew{H5046}{(H8686)} thee, to the right hand{H3225}, nor to the left{H8040}. 12 And the man{H376} that will do{H6213}{(H8799)} presumptuously{H2087}, and will not hearken{H8085}{(H8800)} unto the priest{H3548} that standeth{H5975}{(H8802)} to minister{H8334}{(H8763)} there before the LORD{H3068} thy God{H430}, or unto the judge{H8199}{(H8802)}, even that man{H376} shall die{H4191}{(H8804)}: and thou shalt put away{H1197}{(H8765)} the evil{H7451} from Israel{H3478}. 13 And all the people{H5971} shall hear{H8085}{(H8799)}, and fear{H3372}{(H8799)}, and do no more presumptuously{H2102}{(H8686)}.
Ezra 2:63 : 63 And the Tirshatha{H8660} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto them, that they should not eat{H398}{(H8799)} of the most{H6944} holy things{H6944}, till there stood up{H5975}{(H8800)} a priest{H3548} with Urim{H224} and with Thummim{H8550}.
Neh 8:1-9 : 1 And all the people{H5971} gathered themselves together{H622}{(H8735)} as one{H259} man{H376} into the street{H7339} that was before{H6440} the water{H4325} gate{H8179}; and they spake{H559}{(H8799)} unto Ezra{H5830} the scribe{H5608}{(H8802)} to bring{H935}{(H8687)} the book{H5612} of the law{H8451} of Moses{H4872}, which the LORD{H3068} had commanded{H6680}{(H8765)} to Israel{H3478}. 2 And Ezra{H5830} the priest{H3548} brought{H935}{(H8686)} the law{H8451} before{H6440} the congregation{H6951} both of men{H376} and women{H802}, and all that could hear{H8085}{(H8800)} with understanding{H995}{(H8688)}, upon the first{H259} day{H3117} of the seventh{H7637} month{H2320}. 3 And he read{H7121}{(H8799)} therein before{H6440} the street{H7339} that was before{H6440} the water{H4325} gate{H8179} from the morning{H216} until midday{H4276}{H3117}, before the men{H582} and the women{H802}, and those that could understand{H995}{(H8688)}; and the ears{H241} of all the people{H5971} were attentive unto the book{H5612} of the law{H8451}. 4 And Ezra{H5830} the scribe{H5608}{(H8802)} stood{H5975}{(H8799)} upon a pulpit{H4026} of wood{H6086}, which they had made{H6213}{(H8804)} for the purpose{H1697}; and beside{H681} him stood{H5975}{(H8799)} Mattithiah{H4993}, and Shema{H8087}, and Anaiah{H6043}, and Urijah{H223}, and Hilkiah{H2518}, and Maaseiah{H4641}, on his right hand{H3225}; and on his left hand{H8040}, Pedaiah{H6305}, and Mishael{H4332}, and Malchiah{H4441}, and Hashum{H2828}, and Hashbadana{H2806}, Zechariah{H2148}, and Meshullam{H4918}. 5 And Ezra{H5830} opened{H6605}{(H8799)} the book{H5612} in the sight{H5869} of all the people{H5971};(for he was above all the people{H5971};) and when he opened{H6605}{(H8800)} it, all the people{H5971} stood up{H5975}{(H8804)}: 6 And Ezra{H5830} blessed{H1288}{(H8762)} the LORD{H3068}, the great{H1419} God{H430}. And all the people{H5971} answered{H6030}{(H8799)}, Amen{H543}, Amen{H543}, with lifting up{H4607} their hands{H3027}: and they bowed{H6915}{(H8799)} their heads, and worshipped{H7812}{(H8691)} the LORD{H3068} with their faces{H639} to the ground{H776}. 7 Also Jeshua{H3442}, and Bani{H1137}, and Sherebiah{H8274}, Jamin{H3226}, Akkub{H6126}, Shabbethai{H7678}, Hodijah{H1941}, Maaseiah{H4641}, Kelita{H7042}, Azariah{H5838}, Jozabad{H3107}, Hanan{H2605}, Pelaiah{H6411}, and the Levites{H3881}, caused the people{H5971} to understand{H995}{(H8688)} the law{H8451}: and the people{H5971} stood in their place{H5977}. 8 So they read{H7121}{(H8799)} in the book{H5612} in the law{H8451} of God{H430} distinctly{H6567}{(H8794)}, and gave{H7760}{(H8800)} the sense{H7922}, and caused them to understand{H995}{(H8799)} the reading{H4744}. 9 And Nehemiah{H5166}, which is the Tirshatha{H8660}, and Ezra{H5830} the priest{H3548} the scribe{H5608}{(H8802)}, and the Levites{H3881} that taught{H995}{(H8688)} the people{H5971}, said{H559}{(H8799)} unto all the people{H5971}, This day{H3117} is holy{H6918} unto the LORD{H3068} your God{H430}; mourn{H56}{(H8691)} not, nor weep{H1058}{(H8799)}. For all the people{H5971} wept{H1058}{(H8802)}, when they heard{H8085}{(H8800)} the words{H1697} of the law{H8451}. 10 Then he said{H559}{(H8799)} unto them, Go your way{H3212}{(H8798)}, eat{H398}{(H8798)} the fat{H4924}, and drink{H8354}{(H8798)} the sweet{H4477}, and send{H7971}{(H8798)} portions{H4490} unto them for whom nothing is prepared{H3559}{(H8737)}: for this day{H3117} is holy{H6918} unto our Lord{H113}: neither be ye sorry{H6087}{(H8735)}; for the joy{H2304} of the LORD{H3068} is your strength{H4581}. 11 So the Levites{H3881} stilled{H2814}{(H8688)} all the people{H5971}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, Hold your peace{H2013}{(H8761)}, for the day{H3117} is holy{H6918}; neither be ye grieved{H6087}{(H8735)}. 12 And all the people{H5971} went their way{H3212}{(H8799)} to eat{H398}{(H8800)}, and to drink{H8354}{(H8800)}, and to send{H7971}{(H8763)} portions{H4490}, and to make{H6213}{(H8800)} great{H1419} mirth{H8057}, because they had understood{H995}{(H8689)} the words{H1697} that were declared{H3045}{(H8689)} unto them. 13 And on the second{H8145} day{H3117} were gathered together{H622}{(H8738)} the chief{H7218} of the fathers{H1} of all the people{H5971}, the priests{H3548}, and the Levites{H3881}, unto Ezra{H5830} the scribe{H5608}{(H8802)}, even to understand{H7919}{(H8687)} the words{H1697} of the law{H8451}. 14 And they found{H4672}{(H8799)} written{H3789}{(H8803)} in the law{H8451} which the LORD{H3068} had commanded{H6680}{(H8765)} by{H3027} Moses{H4872}, that the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478} should dwell{H3427}{(H8799)} in booths{H5521} in the feast{H2282} of the seventh{H7637} month{H2320}: 15 And that they should publish{H8085}{(H8686)} and proclaim{H5674}{(H8686)}{H6963} in all their cities{H5892}, and in Jerusalem{H3389}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, Go forth{H3318}{(H8798)} unto the mount{H2022}, and fetch{H935}{(H8685)} olive{H2132} branches{H5929}, and pine{H8081} branches{H6086}{H5929}, and myrtle{H1918} branches{H5929}, and palm{H8558} branches{H5929}, and branches{H5929} of thick{H5687} trees{H6086}, to make{H6213}{(H8800)} booths{H5521}, as it is written{H3789}{(H8803)}. 16 So the people{H5971} went forth{H3318}{(H8799)}, and brought{H935}{(H8686)} them, and made{H6213}{(H8799)} themselves booths{H5521}, every one{H376} upon the roof of his house{H1406}, and in their courts{H2691}, and in the courts{H2691} of the house{H1004} of God{H430}, and in the street{H7339} of the water{H4325} gate{H8179}, and in the street{H7339} of the gate{H8179} of Ephraim{H669}. 17 And all the congregation{H6951} of them that were come again{H7725}{(H8802)} out of the captivity{H7628} made{H6213}{(H8799)} booths{H5521}, and sat{H3427}{(H8799)} under the booths{H5521}: for since the days{H3117} of Jeshua{H3442} the son{H1121} of Nun{H5126} unto that day{H3117} had not the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478} done so{H6213}{(H8804)}. And there was very{H3966} great{H1419} gladness{H8057}. 18 Also day{H3117} by day{H3117}, from the first{H7223} day{H3117} unto the last{H314} day{H3117}, he read{H7121}{(H8799)} in the book{H5612} of the law{H8451} of God{H430}. And they kept{H6213}{(H8799)} the feast{H2282} seven{H7651} days{H3117}; and on the eighth{H8066} day{H3117} was a solemn assembly{H6116}, according unto the manner{H4941}.
