Num 25:7-9 : 7 And when Phinehas{H6372}, the son{H1121} of Eleazar{H499}, the son{H1121} of Aaron{H175} the priest{H3548}, saw{H7200}{(H8799)} it, he rose up{H6965}{(H8799)} from among{H8432} the congregation{H5712}, and took{H3947}{(H8799)} a javelin{H7420} in his hand{H3027}; 8 And he went{H935}{(H8799)} after{H310} the man{H376} of Israel{H3478} into the tent{H6898}, and thrust{H1856}{(H8799)} both{H8147} of them through, the man{H376} of Israel{H3478}, and the woman{H802} through{H413} her belly{H6897}. So the plague{H4046} was stayed{H6113}{(H8735)} from the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478}. 9 And those that died{H4191}{(H8801)} in the plague{H4046} were twenty{H6242} and four{H702} thousand{H505}. 10 And the LORD{H3068} spake{H1696}{(H8762)} unto Moses{H4872}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, 11 Phinehas{H6372}, the son{H1121} of Eleazar{H499}, the son{H1121} of Aaron{H175} the priest{H3548}, hath turned{H7725} my wrath{H2534} away{H7725}{(H8689)} from the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478}, while he was zealous{H7065}{(H8763)} for my sake{H7068} among{H8432} them, that I consumed{H3615}{(H8765)} not the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478} in my jealousy{H7068}. 12 Wherefore say{H559}{(H8798)}, Behold, I give{H5414}{(H8802)} unto him my covenant{H1285} of peace{H7965}: 13 And he shall have it, and his seed{H2233} after{H310} him, even the covenant{H1285} of an everlasting{H5769} priesthood{H3550}; because{H834} he was zealous{H7065}{(H8765)} for his God{H430}, and made an atonement{H3722}{(H8762)} for the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478}.
Num 27:2 : 2 And they stood{H5975}{(H8799)} before{H6440} Moses{H4872}, and before{H6440} Eleazar{H499} the priest{H3548}, and before{H6440} the princes{H5387} and all the congregation{H5712}, by the door{H6607} of the tabernacle{H168} of the congregation{H4150}, saying{H559}{(H8800)},
Num 31:6 : 6 And Moses{H4872} sent{H7971}{(H8799)} them to the war{H6635}, a thousand{H505} of every tribe{H4294}, them and Phinehas{H6372} the son{H1121} of Eleazar{H499} the priest{H3548}, to the war{H6635}, with the holy{H6944} instruments{H3627}, and the trumpets{H2689} to blow{H8643} in his hand{H3027}.

Among the sons{H1121} of Eleazar{H499} there were sixteen{H8337}{H6240} chief men{H7218} of the house{H1004} of their fathers{H1}, and eight{H8083} among the sons{H1121} of Ithamar{H385} according to the house{H1004} of their fathers{H1}. 5 Thus were they divided{H2505}{(H8799)} by lot{H1486}, one sort{H428} with another{H428}; for the governors{H8269} of the sanctuary{H6944}, and governors{H8269} of the house of God{H430}, were of the sons{H1121} of Eleazar{H499}, and of the sons{H1121} of Ithamar{H385}. 6 And Shemaiah{H8098} the son{H1121} of Nethaneel{H5417} the scribe{H5608}{(H8802)}, one of the Levites{H3881}, wrote{H3789}{(H8799)} them before{H6440} the king{H4428}, and the princes{H8269}, and Zadok{H6659} the priest{H3548}, and Ahimelech{H288} the son{H1121} of Abiathar{H54}, and before the chief{H7218} of the fathers{H1} of the priests{H3548} and Levites{H3881}: one{H259} principal{H1} household{H1004} being taken{H270}{(H8803)} for Eleazar{H499}, and one taken{H270}{(H8803)} for Ithamar{H385}.
2 Chr 19:11 : 11 And, behold, Amariah{H568} the chief{H7218} priest{H3548} is over you in all matters{H1697} of the LORD{H3068}; and Zebadiah{H2069} the son{H1121} of Ishmael{H3458}, the ruler{H5057} of the house{H1004} of Judah{H3063}, for all the king's{H4428} matters{H1697}: also the Levites{H3881} shall be officers{H7860}{(H8802)} before{H6440} you. Ps 106:30-31 : 30 Then stood up{H5975}{(H8799)} Phinehas{H6372}, and executed judgment{H6419}{(H8762)}: and so the plague{H4046} was stayed{H6113}{(H8735)}. 31 And that was counted{H2803}{(H8735)} unto him for righteousness{H6666} unto all{H1755} generations{H1755} for{H5704} evermore{H5769}.
Heb 5:4 : 4 And{G2532} no{G3756} man{G5100} taketh{G2983}{(G5719)} this honour{G5092} unto himself{G1438}, but{G235} he that is called{G2564}{(G5746)} of{G5259} God{G2316}, as{G2509}{G2532} was Aaron{G2}.
