Since the days{H3117} of our fathers{H1} have we been in a great{H1419} trespass{H819} unto this day{H3117}; and for our iniquities{H5771} have we, our kings{H4428}, and our priests{H3548}, been delivered{H5414}{(H8738)} into the hand{H3027} of the kings{H4428} of the lands{H776}, to the sword{H2719}, to captivity{H7628}, and to a spoil{H961}, and to confusion{H1322} of face{H6440}, as it is this day{H3117}.

and also in the iniquities{H5771} of their fathers{H1} shall they pine away{H4743}{(H8735)} with them. 40 If they shall confess{H3034}{(H8694)} their iniquity{H5771}, and the iniquity{H5771} of their fathers{H1}, with their trespass{H4604} which they trespassed{H4603}{(H8804)} against me, and that also they have walked{H1980}{(H8804)} contrary{H7147} unto me; and they shall cleave{H1692}{(H8804)} unto thee. 61 Also every sickness{H2483}, and every plague{H4347}, which is not written{H3789}{(H8803)} in the book{H5612} of this law{H8451}, them will the LORD{H3068} bring{H5927}{(H8686)} upon thee, until thou be destroyed{H8045}{(H8736)}. 62 And ye shall be left{H7604}{(H8738)} few{H4592} in number{H4962}, whereas{H834} ye were as the stars{H3556} of heaven{H8064} for multitude{H7230}; because thou wouldest not obey{H8085}{(H8804)} the voice{H6963} of the LORD{H3068} thy God{H430}. 63 And it shall come to pass, that as the LORD{H3068} rejoiced{H7797}{(H8804)} over you to do you good{H3190}{(H8687)}, and to multiply{H7235}{(H8687)} you; and thou shalt fear{H6342}{(H8804)} day{H3119} and night{H3915}, and shalt have none assurance{H539}{(H8686)} of thy life{H2416}: 67 In the morning{H1242} thou shalt say{H559}{(H8799)}, Would God it were{H5414}{(H8799)} even{H6153}! and at even{H6153} thou shalt say{H559}{(H8799)}, Would God it were{H5414}{(H8799)} morning{H1242}! for the fear{H6343} of thine heart{H3824} wherewith thou shalt fear{H6342}{(H8799)}, and for the sight{H4758} of thine eyes{H5869} which thou shalt see{H7200}{(H8799)}. 68 And the LORD{H3068} shall bring{H7725} thee into Egypt{H4714} again{H7725}{(H8689)} with ships{H591}, by the way{H1870} whereof I spake{H559}{(H8804)} unto thee, Thou shalt see{H7200}{(H8800)} it no more again{H3254}{(H8686)}: and there ye shall be sold{H4376}{(H8694)} unto your enemies{H341}{(H8802)} for bondmen{H5650} and bondwomen{H8198}, and no man shall buy{H7069}{(H8802)} you.

Deut 32:15-28 : 15 But Jeshurun{H3484} waxed fat{H8080}{(H8799)}, and kicked{H1163}{(H8799)}: thou art waxen fat{H8080}{(H8804)}, thou art grown thick{H5666}{(H8804)}, thou art covered{H3780}{(H8804)} with fatness; then he forsook{H5203}{(H8799)} God{H433} which made{H6213}{(H8804)} him, and lightly esteemed{H5034}{(H8762)} the Rock{H6697} of his salvation{H3444}. 16 They provoked him to jealousy{H7065}{(H8686)} with strange{H2114}{(H8801)} gods, with abominations{H8441} provoked they him to anger{H3707}{(H8686)}. 17 They sacrificed{H2076}{(H8799)} unto devils{H7700}, not to God{H433}; to gods{H430} whom they knew{H3045}{(H8804)} not, to new{H2319} gods that came{H935} newly{H7138} up{H935}{(H8804)}, whom your fathers{H1} feared{H8175}{(H8804)} not. 18 Of the Rock{H6697} that begat{H3205}{(H8804)} thee thou art unmindful{H7876}{(H8799)}, and hast forgotten{H7911}{(H8799)} God{H410} that formed{H2342}{(H8789)} thee. 19 And when the LORD{H3068} saw{H7200}{(H8799)} it, he abhorred{H5006}{(H8799)} them, because of the provoking{H3708} of his sons{H1121}, and of his daughters{H1323}. 20 And he said{H559}{(H8799)}, I will hide{H5641}{(H8686)} my face{H6440} from them, I will see{H7200}{(H8799)} what their end{H319} shall be: for they are a very froward{H8419} generation{H1755}, children{H1121} in whom is no faith{H529}. 21 They have moved me to jealousy{H7065}{(H8765)} with that which is not{H3808} God{H410}; they have provoked me to anger{H3707}{(H8765)} with their vanities{H1892}: and I will move them to jealousy{H7065}{(H8686)} with those which are not a people{H5971}; I will provoke them to anger{H3707}{(H8686)} with a foolish{H5036} nation{H1471}. 22 For a fire{H784} is kindled{H6919}{(H8804)} in mine anger{H639}, and shall burn{H3344}{(H8799)} unto the lowest{H8482} hell{H7585}, and shall consume{H398}{(H8799)} the earth{H776} with her increase{H2981}, and set on fire{H3857}{(H8762)} the foundations{H4144} of the mountains{H2022}. 23 I will heap{H5595}{(H8686)} mischiefs{H7451} upon them; I will spend{H3615}{(H8762)} mine arrows{H2671} upon them. 24 They shall be burnt{H4198} with hunger{H7458}, and devoured{H3898}{(H8803)} with burning heat{H7565}, and with bitter{H4815} destruction{H6986}: I will also send{H7971}{(H8762)} the teeth{H8127} of beasts{H929} upon them, with the poison{H2534} of serpents{H2119}{(H8801)} of the dust{H6083}. 25 The sword{H2719} without{H2351}, and terror{H367} within{H2315}, shall destroy{H7921}{(H8762)} both the young man{H970} and the virgin{H1330}, the suckling{H3243}{(H8802)} also with the man{H376} of gray hairs{H7872}. 26 I said{H559}{(H8804)}, I would scatter them into corners{H6284}{(H8686)}, I would make the remembrance{H2143} of them to cease{H7673}{(H8686)} from among men{H582}: 27 Were it not{H3884} that I feared{H1481}{(H8799)} the wrath{H3708} of the enemy{H341}{(H8802)}, lest their adversaries{H6862} should behave themselves strangely{H5234}{(H8762)}, and lest they should say{H559}{(H8799)}, Our hand{H3027} is high{H7311}{(H8804)}, and the LORD{H3068} hath not done{H6466}{(H8804)} all this. 28 For they are a nation{H1471} void{H6}{(H8802)} of counsel{H6098}, neither is there any understanding{H8394} in them.
1 Sam 12:15 : 15 But if ye will not obey{H8085}{(H8799)} the voice{H6963} of the LORD{H3068}, but rebel{H4784}{(H8804)} against the commandment{H6310} of the LORD{H3068}, then shall the hand{H3027} of the LORD{H3068} be against you, as it was against your fathers{H1}.
1 Kgs 9:6-9 : 6 But if ye shall at all{H7725}{(H8800)} turn{H7725}{(H8799)} from following{H310} me, ye or your children{H1121}, and will not keep{H8104}{(H8799)} my commandments{H4687} and my statutes{H2708} which I have set{H5414}{(H8804)} before{H6440} you, but go{H1980}{(H8804)} and serve{H5647}{(H8804)} other{H312} gods{H430}, and worship{H7812}{(H8694)} them: 7 Then will I cut off{H3772}{(H8689)} Israel{H3478} out{H6440} of the land{H127} which I have given{H5414}{(H8804)} them; and this house{H1004}, which I have hallowed{H6942}{(H8689)} for my name{H8034}, will I cast out{H7971}{(H8762)} of my sight{H6440}; and Israel{H3478} shall be a proverb{H4912} and a byword{H8148} among all people{H5971}: 8 And at this house{H1004}, which is high{H5945}, every one that passeth{H5674}{(H8802)} by it shall be astonished{H8074}{(H8799)}, and shall hiss{H8319}{(H8804)}; and they shall say{H559}{(H8804)}, Why hath the LORD{H3068} done{H6213}{(H8804)} thus unto this land{H776}, and to this house{H1004}? 9 And they shall answer{H559}{(H8804)}, Because they forsook{H5800}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068} their God{H430}, who brought forth{H3318}{(H8689)} their fathers{H1} out of the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}, and have taken hold{H2388}{(H8686)} upon other{H312} gods{H430}, and have worshipped{H7812}{(H8691)} them, and served{H5647}{(H8799)} them: therefore hath the LORD{H3068} brought{H935}{(H8689)} upon them all this evil{H7451}.
2 Kgs 17:5-8 : 5 Then the king{H4428} of Assyria{H804} came up{H5927}{(H8799)} throughout all the land{H776}, and went up{H5927}{(H8799)} to Samaria{H8111}, and besieged{H6696}{(H8799)} it three{H7969} years{H8141}. 6 In the ninth{H8671} year{H8141} of Hoshea{H1954} the king{H4428} of Assyria{H804} took{H3920}{(H8804)} Samaria{H8111}, and carried{H1540} Israel{H3478} away{H1540}{(H8686)} into Assyria{H804}, and placed{H3427}{(H8686)} them in Halah{H2477} and in Habor{H2249} by the river{H5104} of Gozan{H1470}, and in the cities{H5892} of the Medes{H4074}. 7 For so it was, that the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478} had sinned{H2398}{(H8804)} against the LORD{H3068} their God{H430}, which had brought them up{H5927}{(H8688)} out of the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}, from under the hand{H3027} of Pharaoh{H6547} king{H4428} of Egypt{H4714}, and had feared{H3372}{(H8799)} other{H312} gods{H430}, 8 And walked{H3212}{(H8799)} in the statutes{H2708} of the heathen{H1471}, whom the LORD{H3068} cast out{H3423}{(H8689)} from before{H6440} the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478}, and of the kings{H4428} of Israel{H3478}, which they had made{H6213}{(H8804)}.
2 Kgs 18:9-9 : 9 And it came to pass in the fourth{H7243} year{H8141} of king{H4428} Hezekiah{H2396}, which was the seventh{H7637} year{H8141} of Hoshea{H1954} son{H1121} of Elah{H425} king{H4428} of Israel{H3478}, that Shalmaneser{H8022} king{H4428} of Assyria{H804} came up{H5927}{(H8804)} against Samaria{H8111}, and besieged{H6696}{(H8799)} it. 10 And at the end{H7097} of three{H7969} years{H8141} they took{H3920}{(H8799)} it: even in the sixth{H8337} year{H8141} of Hezekiah{H2396}, that is the ninth{H8672} year{H8141} of Hoshea{H1954} king{H4428} of Israel{H3478}, Samaria{H8111} was taken{H3920}{(H8738)}. 11 And the king{H4428} of Assyria{H804} did carry away{H1540}{(H8686)} Israel{H3478} unto Assyria{H804}, and put{H5148}{(H8686)} them in Halah{H2477} and in Habor{H2249} by the river{H5104} of Gozan{H1470}, and in the cities{H5892} of the Medes{H4074}: 12 Because they obeyed{H8085}{(H8804)} not the voice{H6963} of the LORD{H3068} their God{H430}, but transgressed{H5674}{(H8799)} his covenant{H1285}, and all that Moses{H4872} the servant{H5650} of the LORD{H3068} commanded{H6680}{(H8765)}, and would not hear{H8085}{(H8804)} them, nor do{H6213}{(H8804)} them.
2 Kgs 24:1-4 : 1 In his days{H3117} Nebuchadnezzar{H5019} king{H4428} of Babylon{H894} came up{H5927}{(H8804)}, and Jehoiakim{H3079} became his servant{H5650} three{H7969} years{H8141}: then he turned{H7725}{(H8799)} and rebelled{H4775}{(H8799)} against him. 2 And the LORD{H3068} sent{H7971}{(H8762)} against him bands{H1416} of the Chaldees{H3778}, and bands{H1416} of the Syrians{H758}, and bands{H1416} of the Moabites{H4124}, and bands{H1416} of the children{H1121} of Ammon{H5983}, and sent{H7971}{(H8762)} them against Judah{H3063} to destroy{H6}{(H8687)} it, according to the word{H1697} of the LORD{H3068}, which he spake{H1696}{(H8765)} by{H3027} his servants{H5650} the prophets{H5030}. 3 Surely at the commandment{H6310} of the LORD{H3068} came this upon Judah{H3063}, to remove{H5493}{(H8687)} them out of his sight{H6440}, for the sins{H2403} of Manasseh{H4519}, according to all that he did{H6213}{(H8804)}; 4 And also for the innocent{H5355} blood{H1818} that he shed{H8210}{(H8804)}: for he filled{H4390}{(H8762)} Jerusalem{H3389} with innocent{H5355} blood{H1818}; which the LORD{H3068} would{H14}{(H8804)} not pardon{H5545}{(H8800)}.
