And they called{H7121}{(H8799)} for Samson{H8123} out of the prison{H631}{(H8803)} house{H1004}; and he made them{H6440} sport{H6711}{(H8762)}: and they set{H5975}{(H8686)} him between the pillars{H5982}. 26 And Samson{H8123} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto the lad{H5288} that held{H2388}{(H8688)} him by the hand{H3027}, Suffer{H3240}{(H8685)} me that I may feel{H4184}{(H8685)}{(H8675)}{H3237}{(H8685)} the pillars{H5982} whereupon the house{H1004} standeth{H3559}{(H8737)}, that I may lean{H8172}{(H8735)} upon them. 27 Now the house{H1004} was full{H4390}{(H8804)} of men{H582} and women{H802}; and all the lords{H5633} of the Philistines{H6430} were there; and there were upon the roof{H1406} about three{H7969} thousand{H505} men{H376} and women{H802}, that beheld{H7200}{(H8802)} while Samson{H8123} made sport{H7832}{(H8800)}. 28 And Samson{H8123} called{H7121}{(H8799)} unto the LORD{H3068}, and said{H559}{(H8799)}, O Lord{H136} GOD{H3069}, remember{H2142}{(H8798)} me, I pray thee, and strengthen{H2388}{(H8761)} me, I pray thee, only this once{H6471}, O God{H430}, that I may be at once{H259} avenged{H5358}{(H8735)}{H5359} of the Philistines{H6430} for my two{H8147} eyes{H5869}. 29 And Samson{H8123} took hold{H3943}{(H8799)} of the two{H8147} middle{H8432} pillars{H5982} upon which the house{H1004} stood{H3559}{(H8737)}, and on which it was borne up{H5564}{(H8735)}, of the one{H259} with his right hand{H3225}, and of the other{H259} with his left{H8040}. 30 And Samson{H8123} said{H559}{(H8799)}, Let me die{H4191}{(H8799)}{H5315} with the Philistines{H6430}. And he bowed{H5186}{(H8799)} himself with all his might{H3581}; and the house{H1004} fell{H5307}{(H8799)} upon the lords{H5633}, and upon all the people{H5971} that were therein. So the dead{H4191}{(H8801)} which he slew{H4191}{(H8689)} at his death{H4194} were more{H7227} than they which he slew{H4191}{(H8689)} in his life{H2416}.

And they turned{H5437}{(H8686)} their faces{H6440}, and said{H559}{(H8799)} unto Micah{H4318}, What aileth thee, that thou comest with such a company{H2199}{(H8738)}? 24 And he said{H559}{(H8799)}, Ye have taken away{H3947}{(H8804)} my gods{H430} which I made{H6213}{(H8804)}, and the priest{H3548}, and ye are gone away{H3212}{(H8799)}: and what have I more? and what is this that ye say{H559}{(H8799)} unto me, What aileth thee? 25 And the children{H1121} of Dan{H1835} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto him, Let not thy voice{H6963} be heard{H8085}{(H8686)} among us, lest angry{H4751}{H5315} fellows{H582} run{H6293}{(H8799)} upon thee, and thou lose{H622}{(H8804)} thy life{H5315}, with the lives{H5315} of thy household{H1004}. 26 And the children{H1121} of Dan{H1835} went{H3212}{(H8799)} their way{H1870}: and when Micah{H4318} saw{H7200}{(H8799)} that they were too strong{H2389} for him, he turned{H6437}{(H8799)} and went back{H7725}{(H8799)} unto his house{H1004}. 27 And they took{H3947}{(H8804)} the things which Micah{H4318} had made{H6213}{(H8804)}, and the priest{H3548} which he had, and came{H935}{(H8799)} unto Laish{H3919}, unto a people{H5971} that were at quiet{H8252}{(H8802)} and secure{H982}{(H8802)}: and they smote{H5221}{(H8686)} them with the edge{H6310} of the sword{H2719}, and burnt{H8313}{(H8804)} the city{H5892} with fire{H784}. 28 And there was no deliverer{H5337}{(H8688)}, because it was far{H7350} from Zidon{H6721}, and they had no business{H1697} with any man{H120}; and it was in the valley{H6010} that lieth by Bethrehob{H1050}. And they built{H1129}{(H8799)} a city{H5892}, and dwelt{H3427}{(H8799)} therein. 29 And they called{H7121}{(H8799)} the name{H8034} of the city{H5892} Dan{H1835}, after the name{H8034} of Dan{H1835} their father{H1}, who was born{H3205}{(H8795)} unto Israel{H3478}: howbeit{H199} the name{H8034} of the city{H5892} was Laish{H3919} at the first{H7223}. 30 And the children{H1121} of Dan{H1835} set up{H6965}{(H8686)} the graven image{H6459}: and Jonathan{H3083}, the son{H1121} of Gershom{H1647}, the son{H1121} of Manasseh{H4519}, he and his sons{H1121} were priests{H3548} to the tribe{H7626} of Dan{H1839} until the day{H3117} of the captivity{H1540}{(H8800)} of the land{H776}. 31 And they set them up{H7760}{(H8799)} Micah's{H4318} graven image{H6459}, which he made{H6213}{(H8804)}, all the time{H3117} that the house{H1004} of God{H430} was in Shiloh{H7887}.
