Jer 13:1-9 : 1 Thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068} unto me, Go{H1980}{(H8800)} and get{H7069}{(H8804)} thee a linen{H6593} girdle{H232}, and put{H7760}{(H8804)} it upon thy loins{H4975}, and put{H935}{(H8686)} it not in water{H4325}. 2 So I got{H7069}{(H8799)} a girdle{H232} according to the word{H1697} of the LORD{H3068}, and put{H7760}{(H8799)} it on my loins{H4975}. 3 And the word{H1697} of the LORD{H3068} came unto me the second time{H8145}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, 4 Take{H3947}{(H8798)} the girdle{H232} that thou hast got{H7069}{(H8804)}, which is upon thy loins{H4975}, and arise{H6965}{(H8798)}, go{H3212}{(H8798)} to Euphrates{H6578}, and hide{H2934}{(H8798)} it there in a hole{H5357} of the rock{H5553}. 5 So I went{H3212}{(H8799)}, and hid{H2934}{(H8799)} it by Euphrates{H6578}, as the LORD{H3068} commanded{H6680}{(H8765)} me. 6 And it came to pass after{H7093} many{H7227} days{H3117}, that the LORD{H3068} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto me, Arise{H6965}{(H8798)}, go{H3212}{(H8798)} to Euphrates{H6578}, and take{H3947}{(H8798)} the girdle{H232} from thence, which I commanded{H6680}{(H8765)} thee to hide{H2934}{(H8800)} there. 7 Then I went{H3212}{(H8799)} to Euphrates{H6578}, and digged{H2658}{(H8799)}, and took{H3947}{(H8799)} the girdle{H232} from the place{H4725} where I had hid{H2934}{(H8804)} it: and, behold, the girdle{H232} was marred{H7843}{(H8738)}, it was profitable{H6743}{(H8799)} for nothing. 8 Then the word{H1697} of the LORD{H3068} came unto me, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, 9 Thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068}, After this manner will I mar{H7843}{(H8686)} the pride{H1347} of Judah{H3063}, and the great{H7227} pride{H1347} of Jerusalem{H3389}. 10 This evil{H7451} people{H5971}, which refuse{H3987} to hear{H8085}{(H8800)} my words{H1697}, which walk{H1980}{(H8802)} in the imagination{H8307} of their heart{H3820}, and walk{H3212}{(H8799)} after{H310} other{H312} gods{H430}, to serve{H5647}{(H8800)} them, and to worship{H7812}{(H8692)} them, shall even be as this girdle{H232}, which is good{H6743}{(H8799)} for nothing. 11 For as the girdle{H232} cleaveth{H1692}{(H8799)} to the loins{H4975} of a man{H376}, so have I caused to cleave{H1692}{(H8689)} unto me the whole house{H1004} of Israel{H3478} and the whole house{H1004} of Judah{H3063}, saith{H5002}{(H8803)} the LORD{H3068}; that they might be unto me for a people{H5971}, and for a name{H8034}, and for a praise{H8416}, and for a glory{H8597}: but they would not hear{H8085}{(H8804)}.

Jer 19:1-9 : 1 Thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068}, Go{H1980}{(H8800)} and get{H7069}{(H8804)} a potter's{H3335}{(H8802)} earthen{H2789} bottle{H1228}, and take of the ancients{H2205} of the people{H5971}, and of the ancients{H2205} of the priests{H3548}; 2 And go forth{H3318}{(H8804)} unto the valley{H1516} of the son{H1121} of Hinnom{H2011}, which is by the entry{H6607} of the east{H2777} gate{H8179}, and proclaim{H7121}{(H8804)} there the words{H1697} that I shall tell{H1696}{(H8762)} thee, 3 And say{H559}{(H8804)}, Hear{H8085}{(H8798)} ye the word{H1697} of the LORD{H3068}, O kings{H4428} of Judah{H3063}, and inhabitants{H3427}{(H8802)} of Jerusalem{H3389}; Thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068} of hosts{H6635}, the God{H430} of Israel{H3478}; Behold, I will bring{H935}{(H8688)} evil{H7451} upon this place{H4725}, the which whosoever heareth{H8085}{(H8802)}, his ears{H241} shall tingle{H6750}{(H8799)}. 4 Because they have forsaken{H5800}{(H8804)} me, and have estranged{H5234}{(H8762)} this place{H4725}, and have burned incense{H6999}{(H8762)} in it unto other{H312} gods{H430}, whom neither they nor their fathers{H1} have known{H3045}{(H8804)}, nor the kings{H4428} of Judah{H3063}, and have filled{H4390}{(H8804)} this place{H4725} with the blood{H1818} of innocents{H5355}; 5 They have built{H1129}{(H8804)} also the high places{H1116} of Baal{H1168}, to burn{H8313}{(H8800)} their sons{H1121} with fire{H784} for burnt offerings{H5930} unto Baal{H1168}, which I commanded{H6680}{(H8765)} not, nor spake{H1696}{(H8765)} it, neither came{H5927}{(H8804)} it into my mind{H3820}: 6 Therefore, behold, the days{H3117} come{H935}{(H8802)}, saith{H5002}{(H8803)} the LORD{H3068}, that this place{H4725} shall no more be called{H7121}{(H8735)} Tophet{H8612}, nor The valley{H1516} of the son{H1121} of Hinnom{H2011}, but The valley{H1516} of slaughter{H2028}. 7 And I will make void{H1238}{(H8804)} the counsel{H6098} of Judah{H3063} and Jerusalem{H3389} in this place{H4725}; and I will cause them to fall{H5307}{(H8689)} by the sword{H2719} before{H6440} their enemies{H341}{(H8802)}, and by the hands{H3027} of them that seek{H1245}{(H8764)} their lives{H5315}: and their carcases{H5038} will I give{H5414}{(H8804)} to be meat{H3978} for the fowls{H5775} of the heaven{H8064}, and for the beasts{H929} of the earth{H776}. 8 And I will make{H7760}{(H8804)} this city{H5892} desolate{H8047}, and an hissing{H8322}; every one that passeth{H5674}{(H8802)} thereby shall be astonished{H8074}{(H8799)} and hiss{H8319}{(H8799)} because of all the plagues{H4347} thereof. 9 And I will cause them to eat{H398}{(H8689)} the flesh{H1320} of their sons{H1121} and the flesh{H1320} of their daughters{H1323}, and they shall eat{H398}{(H8799)} every one{H376} the flesh{H1320} of his friend{H7453} in the siege{H4692} and straitness{H4689}, wherewith their enemies{H341}{(H8802)}, and they that seek{H1245}{(H8764)} their lives{H5315}, shall straiten{H6693}{(H8686)} them. 10 Then shalt thou break{H7665}{(H8804)} the bottle{H1228} in the sight{H5869} of the men{H582} that go{H1980}{(H8802)} with thee, 11 And shalt say{H559}{(H8804)} unto them, Thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068} of hosts{H6635}; Even so{H3602} will I break{H7665}{(H8799)} this people{H5971} and this city{H5892}, as one breaketh{H7665}{(H8799)} a potter's{H3335}{(H8802)} vessel{H3627}, that cannot{H3201}{(H8799)} be made whole again{H7495}{(H8736)}: and they shall bury{H6912}{(H8799)} them in Tophet{H8612}, till there be no place{H4725} to bury{H6912}{(H8800)}.
Jer 27:12 : 12 I spake{H1696}{(H8765)} also to Zedekiah{H6667} king{H4428} of Judah{H3063} according to all these words{H1697}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, Bring{H935}{(H8685)} your necks{H6677} under the yoke{H5923} of the king{H4428} of Babylon{H894}, and serve{H5647}{(H8798)} him and his people{H5971}, and live{H2421}{(H8798)}.
Jer 28:10-14 : 10 Then Hananiah{H2608} the prophet{H5030} took{H3947}{(H8799)} the yoke{H4133} from off the prophet{H5030} Jeremiah's{H3414} neck{H6677}, and brake{H7665}{(H8799)} it. 11 And Hananiah{H2608} spake{H559}{(H8799)} in the presence{H5869} of all the people{H5971}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, Thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068}; Even so will I break{H7665}{(H8799)} the yoke{H5923} of Nebuchadnezzar{H5019} king{H4428} of Babylon{H894} from the neck{H6677} of all nations{H1471} within the space of two full{H3117} years{H8141}. And the prophet{H5030} Jeremiah{H3414} went{H3212}{(H8799)} his way{H1870}. 12 Then the word{H1697} of the LORD{H3068} came unto Jeremiah{H3414} the prophet, after{H310} that Hananiah{H2608} the prophet{H5030} had broken{H7665}{(H8800)} the yoke{H4133} from off the neck{H6677} of the prophet{H5030} Jeremiah{H3414}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, 13 Go{H1980}{(H8800)} and tell{H559}{(H8804)} Hananiah{H2608}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, Thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068}; Thou hast broken{H7665}{(H8804)} the yokes{H4133} of wood{H6086}; but thou shalt make{H6213}{(H8804)} for them yokes{H4133} of iron{H1270}. 14 For thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068} of hosts{H6635}, the God{H430} of Israel{H3478}; I have put{H5414}{(H8804)} a yoke{H5923} of iron{H1270} upon the neck{H6677} of all these nations{H1471}, that they may serve{H5647}{(H8800)} Nebuchadnezzar{H5019} king{H4428} of Babylon{H894}; and they shall serve{H5647}{(H8804)} him: and I have given{H5414}{(H8804)} him the beasts{H2416} of the field{H7704} also.

This shall be a sign{H226} to the house{H1004} of Israel{H3478}. 4 Lie{H7901}{(H8798)} thou also upon thy left{H8042} side{H6654}, and lay{H7760}{(H8804)} the iniquity{H5771} of the house{H1004} of Israel{H3478} upon it: according to the number{H4557} of the days{H3117} that thou shalt lie{H7901}{(H8799)} upon it thou shalt bear{H5375}{(H8799)} their iniquity{H5771}. 5 For I have laid{H5414}{(H8804)} upon thee the years{H8141} of their iniquity{H5771}, according to the number{H4557} of the days{H3117}, three{H7969} hundred{H3967} and ninety{H8673} days{H3117}: so shalt thou bear{H5375}{(H8804)} the iniquity{H5771} of the house{H1004} of Israel{H3478}.

10 Say{H559}{(H8798)} thou unto them, Thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the Lord{H136} GOD{H3069}; This burden{H4853} concerneth the prince{H5387} in Jerusalem{H3389}, and all the house{H1004} of Israel{H3478} that are among{H8432} them. 11 Say{H559}{(H8798)}, I am your sign{H4159}: like as I have done{H6213}{(H8804)}, so shall it be done{H6213}{(H8735)} unto them: they shall remove{H1473} and go{H3212}{(H8799)} into captivity{H7628}. 12 And the prince{H5387} that is among{H8432} them shall bear{H5375}{(H8799)} upon his shoulder{H3802} in the twilight{H5939}, and shall go forth{H3318}{(H8799)}: they shall dig{H2864}{(H8799)} through the wall{H7023} to carry out{H3318}{(H8687)} thereby: he shall cover{H3680}{(H8762)} his face{H6440}, that{H3282} he see{H7200}{(H8799)} not the ground{H776} with his eyes{H5869}. 13 My net{H7568} also will I spread{H6566}{(H8804)} upon him, and he shall be taken{H8610}{(H8738)} in my snare{H4686}: and I will bring{H935}{(H8689)} him to Babylon{H894} to the land{H776} of the Chaldeans{H3778}; yet shall he not see{H7200}{(H8799)} it, though he shall die{H4191}{(H8799)} there. 14 And I will scatter{H2219}{(H8762)} toward every wind{H7307} all that are about{H5439} him to help{H5828} him, and all his bands{H102}; and I will draw out{H7324}{(H8686)} the sword{H2719} after{H310} them. 15 And they shall know{H3045}{(H8804)} that I am the LORD{H3068}, when I shall scatter{H6327}{(H8687)} them among the nations{H1471}, and disperse{H2219}{(H8765)} them in the countries{H776}. 16 But I will leave{H3498}{(H8689)} a few{H4557} men{H582} of them from the sword{H2719}, from the famine{H7458}, and from the pestilence{H1698}; that they may declare{H5608}{(H8762)} all their abominations{H8441} among the heathen{H1471} whither they come{H935}{(H8804)}; and they shall know{H3045}{(H8804)} that I am the LORD{H3068}. 17 Moreover the word{H1697} of the LORD{H3068} came to me, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, 18 Son{H1121} of man{H120}, eat{H398}{(H8799)} thy bread{H3899} with quaking{H7494}, and drink{H8354}{(H8799)} thy water{H4325} with trembling{H7269} and with carefulness{H1674}; 19 And say{H559}{(H8804)} unto the people{H5971} of the land{H127}, Thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the Lord{H136} GOD{H3069} of the inhabitants{H3427}{(H8802)} of Jerusalem{H3389}, and of the land{H776} of Israel{H3478}; They shall eat{H398}{(H8799)} their bread{H3899} with carefulness{H1674}, and drink{H8354}{(H8799)} their water{H4325} with astonishment{H8078}, that her land{H776} may be desolate{H3456}{(H8799)} from all that is therein{H4393}, because of the violence{H2555} of all them that dwell{H3427}{(H8802)} therein. 20 And the cities{H5892} that are inhabited{H3427}{(H8737)} shall be laid waste{H2717}{(H8799)}, and the land{H776} shall be desolate{H8077}; and ye shall know{H3045}{(H8804)} that I am the LORD{H3068}. 21 And the word{H1697} of the LORD{H3068} came unto me, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, 22 Son{H1121} of man{H120}, what is that proverb{H4912} that ye have in the land{H127} of Israel{H3478}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, The days{H3117} are prolonged{H748}{(H8799)}, and every vision{H2377} faileth{H6}{(H8804)}? 23 Tell{H559}{(H8798)} them therefore, Thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the Lord{H136} GOD{H3069}; I will make this proverb{H4912} to cease{H7673}{(H8689)}, and they shall no more use it as a proverb{H4911}{(H8799)} in Israel{H3478}; but say{H1696}{(H8761)} unto them, The days{H3117} are at hand{H7126}{(H8804)}, and the effect{H1697} of every vision{H2377}. 24 For there shall be no more any vain{H7723} vision{H2377} nor flattering{H2509} divination{H4738} within{H8432} the house{H1004} of Israel{H3478}. 25 For I am the LORD{H3068}: I will speak{H1696}{(H8762)}, and the word{H1697} that I shall speak{H1696}{(H8762)} shall come to pass{H6213}{(H8735)}; it shall be no more prolonged{H4900}{(H8735)}: for in your days{H3117}, O rebellious{H4805} house{H1004}, will I say{H1696}{(H8762)} the word{H1697}, and will perform{H6213}{(H8804)} it, saith{H5002}{(H8803)} the Lord{H136} GOD{H3069}. 26 Again the word{H1697} of the LORD{H3068} came to me, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, 27 Son{H1121} of man{H120}, behold, they of the house{H1004} of Israel{H3478} say{H559}{(H8802)}, The vision{H2377} that he seeth{H2372}{(H8802)} is for many{H7227} days{H3117} to come, and he prophesieth{H5012}{(H8738)} of the times{H6256} that are far{H7350} off. 28 Therefore say{H559}{(H8798)} unto them, Thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the Lord{H136} GOD{H3069}; There shall none of my words{H1697} be prolonged{H4900}{(H8735)} any more, but the word{H1697} which I have spoken{H1696}{(H8762)} shall be done{H6213}{(H8735)}, saith{H5002}{(H8803)} the Lord{H136} GOD{H3069}.

I will even make the pile{H4071} for fire great{H1431}{(H8686)}. 10 Heap{H7235}{(H8685)} on wood{H6086}, kindle{H1814}{(H8687)} the fire{H784}, consume{H8552}{(H8687)} the flesh{H1320}, and spice{H7543}{(H8687)} it well{H4841}, and let the bones{H6106} be burned{H2787}{(H8735)}. 11 Then set{H5975}{(H8687)} it empty{H7386} upon the coals{H1513} thereof, that the brass{H5178} of it may be hot{H3179}{(H8799)}, and may burn{H2787}{(H8804)}, and that the filthiness{H2932} of it may be molten{H5413}{(H8738)} in it{H8432}, that the scum{H2457} of it may be consumed{H8552}{(H8799)}. 12 She hath wearied{H3811}{(H8689)} herself with lies{H8383}, and her great{H7227} scum{H2457} went not forth{H3318}{(H8799)} out of her: her scum{H2457} shall be in the fire{H784}.
