Exod 7:1-12:32 : 1 And the LORD{H3068} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto Moses{H4872}, See{H7200}{(H8798)}, I have made{H5414}{(H8804)} thee a god{H430} to Pharaoh{H6547}: and Aaron{H175} thy brother{H251} shall be thy prophet{H5030}. 2 Thou shalt speak{H1696}{(H8762)} all that I command{H6680}{(H8762)} thee: and Aaron{H175} thy brother{H251} shall speak{H1696}{(H8762)} unto Pharaoh{H6547}, that he send{H7971}{(H8765)} the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478} out of his land{H776}. 3 And I will harden{H7185}{(H8686)} Pharaoh's{H6547} heart{H3820}, and multiply{H7235}{(H8689)} my signs{H226} and my wonders{H4159} in the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}. 4 But Pharaoh{H6547} shall not hearken{H8085}{(H8799)} unto you, that I may lay{H5414}{(H8804)} my hand{H3027} upon Egypt{H4714}, and bring forth{H3318}{(H8689)} mine armies{H6635}, and my people{H5971} the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478}, out of the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714} by great{H1419} judgments{H8201}. 5 And the Egyptians{H4714} shall know{H3045}{(H8804)} that I am the LORD{H3068}, when I stretch forth{H5186}{(H8800)} mine hand{H3027} upon Egypt{H4714}, and bring out{H3318}{(H8689)} the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478} from among{H8432} them. 6 And Moses{H4872} and Aaron{H175} did{H6213}{(H8799)} as the LORD{H3068} commanded{H6680}{(H8765)} them, so did{H6213}{(H8804)} they. 7 And Moses{H4872} was fourscore{H8084} years{H8141} old{H1121}, and Aaron{H175} fourscore{H8084} and three{H7969} years{H8141} old{H1121}, when they spake{H1696}{(H8763)} unto Pharaoh{H6547}. 8 And the LORD{H3068} spake{H559}{(H8799)} unto Moses{H4872} and unto Aaron{H175}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, 9 When Pharaoh{H6547} shall speak{H1696}{(H8762)} unto you, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, Shew{H5414}{(H8798)} a miracle{H4159} for you: then thou shalt say{H559}{(H8804)} unto Aaron{H175}, Take{H3947}{(H8798)} thy rod{H4294}, and cast{H7993}{(H8685)} it before{H6440} Pharaoh{H6547}, and it shall become a serpent{H8577}. 10 And Moses{H4872} and Aaron{H175} went in{H935}{(H8799)} unto Pharaoh{H6547}, and they did{H6213}{(H8799)} so as the LORD{H3068} had commanded{H6680}{(H8765)}: and Aaron{H175} cast down{H7993}{(H8686)} his rod{H4294} before{H6440} Pharaoh{H6547}, and before{H6440} his servants{H5650}, and it became a serpent{H8577}. 11 Then Pharaoh{H6547} also called{H7121}{(H8799)} the wise men{H2450} and the sorcerers{H3784}{(H8764)}: now the magicians{H2748} of Egypt{H4714}, they also did{H6213}{(H8799)} in like manner{H3651} with their enchantments{H3858}. 12 For they cast down{H7993}{(H8686)} every man{H376} his rod{H4294}, and they became serpents{H8577}: but Aaron's{H175} rod{H4294} swallowed up{H1104}{(H8799)} their rods{H4294}. 13 And he hardened{H2388}{(H8799)} Pharaoh's{H6547} heart{H3820}, that he hearkened{H8085}{(H8804)} not unto them; as the LORD{H3068} had said{H1696}{(H8765)}. 14 And the LORD{H3068} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto Moses{H4872}, Pharaoh's{H6547} heart{H3820} is hardened{H3515}, he refuseth{H3985}{(H8765)} to let the people{H5971} go{H7971}{(H8763)}. 15 Get{H3212}{(H8798)} thee unto Pharaoh{H6547} in the morning{H1242}; lo, he goeth out{H3318}{(H8802)} unto the water{H4325}; and thou shalt stand{H5324}{(H8738)} by the river's{H2975} brink{H8193} against he come{H7125}{(H8800)}; and the rod{H4294} which was turned{H2015}{(H8738)} to a serpent{H5175} shalt thou take{H3947}{(H8799)} in thine hand{H3027}. 16 And thou shalt say{H559}{(H8804)} unto him, The LORD{H3068} God{H430} of the Hebrews{H5680} hath sent{H7971}{(H8804)} me unto thee, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, Let my people{H5971} go{H7971}{(H8761)}, that they may serve{H5647}{(H8799)} me in the wilderness{H4057}: and, behold, hitherto{H3541} thou wouldest not hear{H8085}{(H8804)}. 17 Thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068}, In this thou shalt know{H3045}{(H8799)} that I am the LORD{H3068}: behold, I will smite{H5221}{(H8688)} with the rod{H4294} that is in mine hand{H3027} upon the waters{H4325} which are in the river{H2975}, and they shall be turned{H2015}{(H8738)} to blood{H1818}. 18 And the fish{H1710} that is in the river{H2975} shall die{H4191}{(H8799)}, and the river{H2975} shall stink{H887}{(H8804)}; and the Egyptians{H4714} shall lothe{H3811}{(H8738)} to drink{H8354}{(H8800)} of the water{H4325} of the river{H2975}. 19 And the LORD{H3068} spake{H559}{(H8799)} unto Moses{H4872}, Say{H559}{(H8798)} unto Aaron{H175}, Take{H3947}{(H8798)} thy rod{H4294}, and stretch out{H5186}{(H8798)} thine hand{H3027} upon the waters{H4325} of Egypt{H4714}, upon their streams{H5104}, upon their rivers{H2975}, and upon their ponds{H98}, and upon all their pools{H4723} of water{H4325}, that they may become blood{H1818}; and that there may be blood{H1818} throughout all the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}, both in vessels of wood{H6086}, and in vessels of stone{H68}. 20 And Moses{H4872} and Aaron{H175} did{H6213}{(H8799)} so, as the LORD{H3068} commanded{H6680}{(H8765)}; and he lifted up{H7311}{(H8686)} the rod{H4294}, and smote{H5221}{(H8686)} the waters{H4325} that were in the river{H2975}, in the sight{H5869} of Pharaoh{H6547}, and in the sight{H5869} of his servants{H5650}; and all the waters{H4325} that were in the river{H2975} were turned{H2015}{(H8735)} to blood{H1818}. 21 And the fish{H1710} that was in the river{H2975} died{H4191}{(H8804)}; and the river{H2975} stank{H887}{(H8799)}, and the Egyptians{H4714} could{H3201}{(H8804)} not drink{H8354}{(H8800)} of the water{H4325} of the river{H2975}; and there was blood{H1818} throughout all the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}. 22 And the magicians{H2748} of Egypt{H4714} did{H6213}{(H8799)} so with their enchantments{H3909}: and Pharaoh's{H6547} heart{H3820} was hardened{H2388}{(H8799)}, neither did he hearken{H8085}{(H8804)} unto them; as the LORD{H3068} had said{H1696}{(H8765)}. 23 And Pharaoh{H6547} turned{H6437}{(H8799)} and went{H935}{(H8799)} into his house{H1004}, neither did he set{H7896}{(H8804)} his heart{H3820} to this{H2063} also. 24 And all the Egyptians{H4714} digged{H2658}{(H8799)} round about{H5439} the river{H2975} for water{H4325} to drink{H8354}{(H8800)}; for they could{H3201}{(H8804)} not drink{H8354}{(H8800)} of the water{H4325} of the river{H2975}. 25 And seven{H7651} days{H3117} were fulfilled{H4390}{(H8735)}, after{H310} that the LORD{H3068} had smitten{H5221}{(H8687)} the river{H2975}. 1 And the LORD{H3068} spake{H559}{(H8799)} unto Moses{H4872}, Go{H935}{(H8798)} unto Pharaoh{H6547}, and say{H559}{(H8804)} unto him, Thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068}, Let my people{H5971} go{H7971}{(H8761)}, that they may serve{H5647}{(H8799)} me. 2 And if thou refuse{H3986} to let them go{H7971}{(H8763)}, behold, I will smite{H5062}{(H8802)} all thy borders{H1366} with frogs{H6854}: 3 And the river{H2975} shall bring forth{H8317} frogs{H6854} abundantly{H8317}{(H8804)}, which shall go up{H5927}{(H8804)} and come{H935}{(H8804)} into thine house{H1004}, and into thy bedchamber{H2315}{H4904}, and upon thy bed{H4296}, and into the house{H1004} of thy servants{H5650}, and upon thy people{H5971}, and into thine ovens{H8574}, and into thy kneadingtroughs{H4863}: 4 And the frogs{H6854} shall come up{H5927}{(H8799)} both on thee, and upon thy people{H5971}, and upon all thy servants{H5650}. 5 And the LORD{H3068} spake{H559}{(H8799)} unto Moses{H4872}, Say{H559}{(H8798)} unto Aaron{H175}, Stretch forth{H5186}{(H8798)} thine hand{H3027} with thy rod{H4294} over the streams{H5104}, over the rivers{H2975}, and over the ponds{H98}, and cause frogs{H6854} to come up{H5927}{(H8685)} upon the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}. 6 And Aaron{H175} stretched out{H5186}{(H8799)} his hand{H3027} over the waters{H4325} of Egypt{H4714}; and the frogs{H6854} came up{H5927}{(H8799)}, and covered{H3680}{(H8762)} the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}. 7 And the magicians{H2748} did{H6213}{(H8799)} so with their enchantments{H3909}, and brought up{H5927}{(H8686)} frogs{H6854} upon the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}. 8 Then Pharaoh{H6547} called{H7121}{(H8799)} for Moses{H4872} and Aaron{H175}, and said{H559}{(H8799)}, Intreat{H6279}{(H8685)} the LORD{H3068}, that he may take away{H5493}{(H8686)} the frogs{H6854} from me, and from my people{H5971}; and I will let the people{H5971} go{H7971}{(H8762)}, that they may do sacrifice{H2076}{(H8799)} unto the LORD{H3068}. 9 And Moses{H4872} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto Pharaoh{H6547}, Glory{H6286}{(H8690)} over me: when{H4970} shall I intreat{H6279}{(H8686)} for thee, and for thy servants{H5650}, and for thy people{H5971}, to destroy{H3772}{(H8687)} the frogs{H6854} from thee and thy houses{H1004}, that they may remain{H7604}{(H8735)} in the river{H2975} only? 10 And he said{H559}{(H8799)}, To morrow{H4279}. And he said{H559}{(H8799)}, Be it according to thy word{H1697}: that thou mayest know{H3045}{(H8799)} that there is none like unto the LORD{H3068} our God{H430}. 11 And the frogs{H6854} shall depart{H5493}{(H8804)} from thee, and from thy houses{H1004}, and from thy servants{H5650}, and from thy people{H5971}; they shall remain{H7604}{(H8735)} in the river{H2975} only. 12 And Moses{H4872} and Aaron{H175} went out{H3318}{(H8799)} from Pharaoh{H6547}: and Moses{H4872} cried{H6817}{(H8799)} unto the LORD{H3068} because of{H1697} the frogs{H6854} which he had brought{H7760}{(H8804)} against Pharaoh{H6547}. 13 And the LORD{H3068} did{H6213}{(H8799)} according to the word{H1697} of Moses{H4872}; and the frogs{H6854} died{H4191}{(H8799)} out of the houses{H1004}, out of the villages{H2691}, and out of the fields{H7704}. 14 And they gathered them together{H6651}{(H8799)} upon heaps{H2563}: and the land{H776} stank{H887}{(H8799)}. 15 But when Pharaoh{H6547} saw{H7200}{(H8799)} that there was respite{H7309}, he hardened{H3513}{(H8687)} his heart{H3820}, and hearkened{H8085}{(H8804)} not unto them; as the LORD{H3068} had said{H1696}{(H8765)}. 16 And the LORD{H3068} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto Moses{H4872}, Say{H559}{(H8798)} unto Aaron{H175}, Stretch out{H5186}{(H8798)} thy rod{H4294}, and smite{H5221}{(H8685)} the dust{H6083} of the land{H776}, that it may become lice{H3654} throughout all the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}. 17 And they did{H6213}{(H8799)} so; for Aaron{H175} stretched out{H5186}{(H8799)} his hand{H3027} with his rod{H4294}, and smote{H5221}{(H8686)} the dust{H6083} of the earth{H776}, and it became lice{H3654} in man{H120}, and in beast{H929}; all the dust{H6083} of the land{H776} became lice{H3654} throughout all the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}. 18 And the magicians{H2748} did{H6213}{(H8799)} so with their enchantments{H3909} to bring forth{H3318}{(H8687)} lice{H3654}, but they could{H3201}{(H8804)} not: so there were lice{H3654} upon man{H120}, and upon beast{H929}. 19 Then the magicians{H2748} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto Pharaoh{H6547}, This is the finger{H676} of God{H430}: and Pharaoh's{H6547} heart{H3820} was hardened{H2388}{(H8799)}, and he hearkened{H8085}{(H8804)} not unto them; as the LORD{H3068} had said{H1696}{(H8765)}. 20 And the LORD{H3068} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto Moses{H4872}, Rise up early{H7925}{(H8685)} in the morning{H1242}, and stand{H3320}{(H8690)} before{H6440} Pharaoh{H6547}; lo, he cometh forth{H3318}{(H8802)} to the water{H4325}; and say{H559}{(H8804)} unto him, Thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068}, Let my people{H5971} go{H7971}{(H8761)}, that they may serve{H5647}{(H8799)} me. 21 Else, if thou wilt not let my people{H5971} go{H7971}{(H8764)}, behold, I will send{H7971}{(H8688)} swarms{H6157} of flies upon thee, and upon thy servants{H5650}, and upon thy people{H5971}, and into thy houses{H1004}: and the houses{H1004} of the Egyptians{H4714} shall be full{H4390}{(H8804)} of swarms{H6157} of flies, and also the ground{H127} whereon they are. 22 And I will sever{H6395}{(H8689)} in that day{H3117} the land{H776} of Goshen{H1657}, in which my people{H5971} dwell{H5975}{(H8802)}, that no{H1115} swarms{H6157} of flies shall be{H1961}{(H8800)} there; to the end{H4616} thou mayest know{H3045}{(H8799)} that I am the LORD{H3068} in the midst{H7130} of the earth{H776}. 23 And I will put{H7760}{(H8804)} a division{H6304} between my people{H5971} and thy people{H5971}: to morrow{H4279} shall this sign{H226} be. 24 And the LORD{H3068} did{H6213}{(H8799)} so; and there came{H935}{(H8799)} a grievous{H3515} swarm{H6157} of flies into the house{H1004} of Pharaoh{H6547}, and into his servants{H5650}' houses{H1004}, and into all the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}: the land{H776} was corrupted{H7843}{(H8735)} by reason{H6440} of the swarm{H6157} of flies. 25 And Pharaoh{H6547} called{H7121}{(H8799)} for{H413} Moses{H4872} and for Aaron{H175}, and said{H559}{(H8799)}, Go{H3212}{(H8798)} ye, sacrifice{H2076}{(H8798)} to your God{H430} in the land{H776}. 26 And Moses{H4872} said{H559}{(H8799)}, It is not meet{H3559}{(H8737)} so to do{H6213}{(H8800)}; for{H2005} we shall sacrifice{H2076}{(H8799)} the abomination{H8441} of the Egyptians{H4714} to the LORD{H3068} our God{H430}: lo, shall we sacrifice{H2076}{(H8799)} the abomination{H8441} of the Egyptians{H4714} before their eyes{H5869}, and will they not stone{H5619}{(H8799)} us? 27 We will go{H3212}{(H8799)} three{H7969} days{H3117}' journey{H1870} into the wilderness{H4057}, and sacrifice{H2076}{(H8804)} to the LORD{H3068} our God{H430}, as he shall command{H559}{(H8799)} us. 28 And Pharaoh{H6547} said{H559}{(H8799)}, I will let you go{H7971}{(H8762)}, that ye may sacrifice{H2076}{(H8804)} to the LORD{H3068} your God{H430} in the wilderness{H4057}; only ye shall not go{H3212}{(H8800)} very{H7368}{(H8687)} far away{H7368}{(H8686)}: intreat{H6279}{(H8685)} for me{H1157}. 29 And Moses{H4872} said{H559}{(H8799)}, Behold, I go out{H3318}{(H8802)} from thee, and I will intreat{H6279}{(H8689)} the LORD{H3068} that the swarms{H6157} of flies may depart{H5493}{(H8804)} from Pharaoh{H6547}, from his servants{H5650}, and from his people{H5971}, to morrow{H4279}: but{H7535} let not Pharaoh{H6547} deal deceitfully{H2048}{(H8763)} any more{H3254}{(H8686)} in not{H1115} letting the people{H5971} go{H7971}{(H8763)} to sacrifice{H2076}{(H8800)} to the LORD{H3068}. 30 And Moses{H4872} went out{H3318}{(H8799)} from Pharaoh{H6547}, and intreated{H6279}{(H8799)} the LORD{H3068}. 31 And the LORD{H3068} did{H6213}{(H8799)} according to the word{H1697} of Moses{H4872}; and he removed{H5493}{(H8686)} the swarms{H6157} of flies from Pharaoh{H6547}, from his servants{H5650}, and from his people{H5971}; there remained{H7604}{(H8738)} not one{H259}. 32 And Pharaoh{H6547} hardened{H3513}{(H8686)} his heart{H3820} at this time{H6471} also, neither would he let the people{H5971} go{H7971}{(H8765)}. 1 Then the LORD{H3068} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto Moses{H4872}, Go{H935}{(H8798)} in unto Pharaoh{H6547}, and tell{H1696}{(H8765)} him, Thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068} God{H430} of the Hebrews{H5680}, Let my people{H5971} go{H7971}{(H8761)}, that they may serve{H5647}{(H8799)} me. 2 For if thou refuse{H3986} to let them go{H7971}{(H8763)}, and wilt hold{H2388}{(H8688)} them still, 3 Behold, the hand{H3027} of the LORD{H3068} is{H1961}{(H8802)} upon thy cattle{H4735} which is in the field{H7704}, upon the horses{H5483}, upon the asses{H2543}, upon the camels{H1581}, upon the oxen{H1241}, and upon the sheep{H6629}: there shall be a very{H3966} grievous{H3515} murrain{H1698}. 4 And the LORD{H3068} shall sever{H6395}{(H8689)} between the cattle{H4735} of Israel{H3478} and the cattle{H4735} of Egypt{H4714}: and there shall nothing{H1697} die{H4191}{(H8799)} of all that is the children's{H1121} of Israel{H3478}. 5 And the LORD{H3068} appointed{H7760}{(H8799)} a set time{H4150}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, To morrow{H4279} the LORD{H3068} shall do{H6213}{(H8799)} this thing{H1697} in the land{H776}. 6 And the LORD{H3068} did{H6213}{(H8799)} that thing{H1697} on the morrow{H4283}, and all the cattle{H4735} of Egypt{H4714} died{H4191}{(H8799)}: but of the cattle{H4735} of the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478} died{H4191}{(H8804)} not one{H259}. 7 And Pharaoh{H6547} sent{H7971}{(H8799)}, and, behold, there was not one{H259} of the cattle{H4735} of the Israelites{H3478} dead{H4191}{(H8804)}. And the heart{H3820} of Pharaoh{H6547} was hardened{H3513}{(H8799)}, and he did not let the people{H5971} go{H7971}{(H8765)}. 8 And the LORD{H3068} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto Moses{H4872} and unto Aaron{H175}, Take{H3947}{(H8798)} to you handfuls{H2651}{H4393} of ashes{H6368} of the furnace{H3536}, and let Moses{H4872} sprinkle{H2236}{(H8804)} it toward the heaven{H8064} in the sight{H5869} of Pharaoh{H6547}. 9 And it shall become small dust{H80} in all the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}, and shall be a boil{H7822} breaking forth{H6524}{(H8802)} with blains{H76} upon man{H120}, and upon beast{H929}, throughout all the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}. 10 And they took{H3947}{(H8799)} ashes{H6368} of the furnace{H3536}, and stood{H5975}{(H8799)} before{H6440} Pharaoh{H6547}; and Moses{H4872} sprinkled{H2236}{(H8799)} it up toward heaven{H8064}; and it became a boil{H7822} breaking forth{H6524}{(H8802)} with blains{H76} upon man{H120}, and upon beast{H929}. 11 And the magicians{H2748} could{H3201}{(H8804)} not stand{H5975}{(H8800)} before{H6440} Moses{H4872} because{H6440} of the boils{H7822}; for the boil{H7822} was upon the magicians{H2748}, and upon all the Egyptians{H4714}. 12 And the LORD{H3068} hardened{H2388}{(H8762)} the heart{H3820} of Pharaoh{H6547}, and he hearkened{H8085}{(H8804)} not unto them; as the LORD{H3068} had spoken{H1696}{(H8765)} unto Moses{H4872}. 13 And the LORD{H3068} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto Moses{H4872}, Rise up early{H7925}{(H8685)} in the morning{H1242}, and stand{H3320}{(H8690)} before{H6440} Pharaoh{H6547}, and say{H559}{(H8804)} unto him, Thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068} God{H430} of the Hebrews{H5680}, Let my people{H5971} go{H7971}{(H8761)}, that they may serve{H5647}{(H8799)} me. 14 For I will at this time{H6471} send{H7971}{(H8802)} all my plagues{H4046} upon thine heart{H3820}, and upon thy servants{H5650}, and upon thy people{H5971}; that thou mayest know{H3045}{(H8799)} that there is none like me in all the earth{H776}. 15 For now I will stretch out{H7971}{(H8804)} my hand{H3027}, that I may smite{H5221}{(H8686)} thee and thy people{H5971} with pestilence{H1698}; and thou shalt be cut off{H3582}{(H8735)} from the earth{H776}. 16 And in very{H199} deed{H5668} for this cause have I raised thee up{H5975}{(H8689)}, for to shew{H7200}{(H8687)} in thee my power{H3581}; and that my name{H8034} may be declared{H5608}{(H8763)} throughout all the earth{H776}. 17 As yet exaltest{H5549}{(H8706)} thou thyself against my people{H5971}, that thou wilt not let them go{H7971}{(H8763)}? 18 Behold, to morrow{H4279} about this time{H6256} I will cause it to rain{H4305}{(H8688)} a very{H3966} grievous{H3515} hail{H1259}, such as hath not been{H3644} in Egypt{H4714} since{H4480} the foundation{H3117}{H3245}{(H8736)} thereof even until now. 19 Send{H7971}{(H8798)} therefore now, and gather{H5756}{(H8685)} thy cattle{H4735}, and all that thou hast in the field{H7704}; for upon every man{H120} and beast{H929} which shall be found{H4672}{(H8735)} in the field{H7704}, and shall not be brought{H622}{(H8735)} home{H1004}, the hail{H1259} shall come down{H3381}{(H8804)} upon them, and they shall die{H4191}{(H8804)}. 20 He that feared{H3373} the word{H1697} of the LORD{H3068} among the servants{H5650} of Pharaoh{H6547} made his servants{H5650} and his cattle{H4735} flee{H5127}{(H8689)} into the houses{H1004}: 21 And he that regarded{H7760}{(H8804)}{H3820} not the word{H1697} of the LORD{H3068} left{H5800}{(H8799)} his servants{H5650} and his cattle{H4735} in the field{H7704}. 22 And the LORD{H3068} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto Moses{H4872}, Stretch forth{H5186}{(H8798)} thine hand{H3027} toward heaven{H8064}, that there may be hail{H1259} in all the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}, upon man{H120}, and upon beast{H929}, and upon every herb{H6212} of the field{H7704}, throughout the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}. 23 And Moses{H4872} stretched forth{H5186}{(H8799)} his rod{H4294} toward heaven{H8064}: and the LORD{H3068} sent{H5414}{(H8804)} thunder{H6963} and hail{H1259}, and the fire{H784} ran along{H1980}{(H8799)} upon the ground{H776}; and the LORD{H3068} rained{H4305}{(H8686)} hail{H1259} upon the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}. 24 So there was hail{H1259}, and fire{H784}{H3947}{(H8693)} mingled{H8432} with the hail{H1259}, very{H3966} grievous{H3515}, such as there was none{H3808} like it in all the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714} since it became a nation{H1471}. 25 And the hail{H1259} smote{H5221}{(H8686)} throughout all the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714} all that was in the field{H7704}, both man{H120} and beast{H929}; and the hail{H1259} smote{H5221}{(H8689)} every herb{H6212} of the field{H7704}, and brake{H7665}{(H8765)} every tree{H6086} of the field{H7704}. 26 Only in the land{H776} of Goshen{H1657}, where the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478} were, was there no hail{H1259}. 27 And Pharaoh{H6547} sent{H7971}{(H8799)}, and called{H7121}{(H8799)} for Moses{H4872} and Aaron{H175}, and said{H559}{(H8799)} unto them, I have sinned{H2398}{(H8804)} this time{H6471}: the LORD{H3068} is righteous{H6662}, and I and my people{H5971} are wicked{H7563}. 28 Intreat{H6279}{(H8685)} the LORD{H3068}(for it is enough{H7227}) that there be no more mighty{H430} thunderings{H6963} and hail{H1259}; and I will let you go{H7971}{(H8762)}, and ye shall stay{H5975}{(H8800)} no longer{H3254}{(H8686)}. 29 And Moses{H4872} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto him, As soon as I am gone out{H3318}{(H8800)} of the city{H5892}, I will spread abroad{H6566}{(H8799)} my hands{H3709} unto the LORD{H3068}; and the thunder{H6963} shall cease{H2308}{(H8799)}, neither shall there be any more hail{H1259}; that thou mayest know{H3045}{(H8799)} how that the earth{H776} is the LORD'S{H3068}. 30 But as for thee and thy servants{H5650}, I know{H3045}{(H8804)} that ye will not yet fear{H3372}{(H8799)}{H6440} the LORD{H3068} God{H430}. 31 And the flax{H6594} and the barley{H8184} was smitten{H5221}{(H8795)}: for the barley{H8184} was in the ear{H24}, and the flax{H6594} was bolled{H1392}. 32 But the wheat{H2406} and the rie{H3698} were not smitten{H5221}{(H8795)}: for they{H2007} were not grown up{H648}. 33 And Moses{H4872} went out{H3318}{(H8799)} of the city{H5892} from Pharaoh{H6547}, and spread abroad{H6566}{(H8799)} his hands{H3709} unto the LORD{H3068}: and the thunders{H6963} and hail{H1259} ceased{H2308}{(H8799)}, and the rain{H4306} was not poured{H5413}{(H8738)} upon the earth{H776}. 34 And when Pharaoh{H6547} saw{H7200}{(H8799)} that the rain{H4306} and the hail{H1259} and the thunders{H6963} were ceased{H2308}{(H8804)}, he sinned{H2398}{(H8800)} yet more{H3254}{(H8686)}, and hardened{H3513}{(H8686)} his heart{H3820}, he and his servants{H5650}. 35 And the heart{H3820} of Pharaoh{H6547} was hardened{H2388}{(H8799)}, neither would he let the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478} go{H7971}{(H8765)}; as the LORD{H3068} had spoken{H1696}{(H8765)} by{H3027} Moses{H4872}. 1 And the LORD{H3068} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto Moses{H4872}, Go{H935}{(H8798)} in unto Pharaoh{H6547}: for I have hardened{H3513}{(H8689)} his heart{H3820}, and the heart{H3820} of his servants{H5650}, that I might shew{H7896}{(H8800)} these my signs{H226} before{H7130} him: 2 And that thou mayest tell{H5608}{(H8762)} in the ears{H241} of thy son{H1121}, and of thy son's{H1121} son{H1121}, what things I have wrought{H5953}{(H8694)} in Egypt{H4714}, and my signs{H226} which I have done{H7760}{(H8804)} among them; that ye may know{H3045}{(H8804)} how that I am the LORD{H3068}. 3 And Moses{H4872} and Aaron{H175} came in{H935}{(H8799)} unto Pharaoh{H6547}, and said{H559}{(H8799)} unto him, Thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068} God{H430} of the Hebrews{H5680}, How long{H4970} wilt thou refuse{H3985}{(H8765)} to humble{H6031}{(H8736)} thyself before{H6440} me? let my people{H5971} go{H7971}{(H8761)}, that they may serve{H5647}{(H8799)} me. 4 Else{H3588}, if thou refuse{H3986} to let my people{H5971} go{H7971}{(H8763)}, behold, to morrow{H4279} will I bring{H935}{(H8688)} the locusts{H697} into thy coast{H1366}: 5 And they shall cover{H3680}{(H8765)} the face{H5869} of the earth{H776}, that one cannot be able{H3201}{(H8799)} to see{H7200}{(H8800)} the earth{H776}: and they shall eat{H398}{(H8804)} the residue{H3499} of that which is escaped{H6413}, which remaineth{H7604}{(H8737)} unto you from the hail{H1259}, and shall eat{H398}{(H8804)} every tree{H6086} which groweth{H6779}{(H8802)} for you out of the field{H7704}: 6 And they shall fill{H4390}{(H8804)} thy houses{H1004}, and the houses{H1004} of all thy servants{H5650}, and the houses{H1004} of all the Egyptians{H4714}; which neither thy fathers{H1}, nor thy fathers{H1}' fathers{H1} have seen{H7200}{(H8804)}, since the day{H3117} that they were upon the earth{H127} unto this day{H3117}. And he turned{H6437}{(H8799)} himself, and went out{H3318}{(H8799)} from Pharaoh{H6547}. 7 And Pharaoh's{H6547} servants{H5650} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto him, How long shall this man be a snare{H4170} unto us? let the men{H582} go{H7971}{(H8761)}, that they may serve{H5647}{(H8799)} the LORD{H3068} their God{H430}: knowest{H3045}{(H8799)} thou not yet{H2962} that Egypt{H4714} is destroyed{H6}{(H8804)}? 8 And Moses{H4872} and Aaron{H175} were brought again{H7725}{(H8714)} unto Pharaoh{H6547}: and he said{H559}{(H8799)} unto them, Go{H3212}{(H8798)}, serve{H5647}{(H8798)} the LORD{H3068} your God{H430}: but who are they that shall go{H1980}{(H8802)}? 9 And Moses{H4872} said{H559}{(H8799)}, We will go{H3212}{(H8799)} with our young{H5288} and with our old{H2205}, with our sons{H1121} and with our daughters{H1323}, with our flocks{H6629} and with our herds{H1241} will we go{H3212}{(H8799)}; for we must hold a feast{H2282} unto the LORD{H3068}. 10 And he said{H559}{(H8799)} unto them, Let the LORD{H3068} be so with you, as I will let you go{H7971}{(H8762)}, and your little ones{H2945}: look{H7200}{(H8798)} to it; for evil{H7451} is before{H6440} you. 11 Not so: go{H3212}{(H8798)} now ye that are men{H1397}, and serve{H5647}{(H8798)} the LORD{H3068}; for that ye did desire{H1245}{(H8764)}. And they were driven out{H1644}{(H8762)} from Pharaoh's{H6547} presence{H6440}. 12 And the LORD{H3068} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto Moses{H4872}, Stretch out{H5186}{(H8798)} thine hand{H3027} over the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714} for the locusts{H697}, that they may come up{H5927}{(H8799)} upon the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}, and eat{H398}{(H8799)} every herb{H6212} of the land{H776}, even all that the hail{H1259} hath left{H7604}{(H8689)}. 13 And Moses{H4872} stretched forth{H5186}{(H8799)} his rod{H4294} over the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}, and the LORD{H3068} brought{H5090}{(H8765)} an east{H6921} wind{H7307} upon the land{H776} all that day{H3117}, and all that night{H3915}; and when it was morning{H1242}, the east{H6921} wind{H7307} brought{H5375}{(H8804)} the locusts{H697}. 14 And the locusts{H697} went up{H5927}{(H8799)} over all the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}, and rested{H5117}{(H8799)} in all the coasts{H1366} of Egypt{H4714}: very{H3966} grievous{H3515} were they; before{H6440} them there were no such{H3651} locusts{H697} as they, neither after{H310} them shall be such. 15 For they covered{H3680}{(H8762)} the face{H5869} of the whole earth{H776}, so that the land{H776} was darkened{H2821}{(H8799)}; and they did eat{H398}{(H8799)} every herb{H6212} of the land{H776}, and all the fruit{H6529} of the trees{H6086} which the hail{H1259} had left{H3498}{(H8689)}: and there remained{H3498}{(H8738)} not any green thing{H3418} in the trees{H6086}, or in the herbs{H6212} of the field{H7704}, through all the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}. 16 Then Pharaoh{H6547} called{H7121}{(H8800)} for Moses{H4872} and Aaron{H175} in haste{H4116}{(H8762)}; and he said{H559}{(H8799)}, I have sinned{H2398}{(H8804)} against the LORD{H3068} your God{H430}, and against you. 17 Now therefore forgive{H5375}{(H8798)}, I pray thee, my sin{H2403} only this once{H6471}, and intreat{H6279}{(H8685)} the LORD{H3068} your God{H430}, that he may take away{H5493}{(H8686)} from me this death{H4194} only. 18 And he went out{H3318}{(H8799)} from Pharaoh{H6547}, and intreated{H6279}{(H8799)} the LORD{H3068}. 19 And the LORD{H3068} turned{H2015}{(H8799)} a mighty{H3966} strong{H2389} west{H3220} wind{H7307}, which took away{H5375}{(H8799)} the locusts{H697}, and cast{H8628}{(H8799)} them into the Red{H5488} sea{H3220}; there remained{H7604}{(H8738)} not one{H259} locust{H697} in all the coasts{H1366} of Egypt{H4714}. 20 But the LORD{H3068} hardened{H2388}{(H8762)} Pharaoh's{H6547} heart{H3820}, so that he would not let the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478} go{H7971}{(H8765)}. 21 And the LORD{H3068} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto Moses{H4872}, Stretch out{H5186}{(H8798)} thine hand{H3027} toward heaven{H8064}, that there may be darkness{H2822} over the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}, even darkness{H2822} which may be felt{H4959}{(H8686)}. 22 And Moses{H4872} stretched forth{H5186}{(H8799)} his hand{H3027} toward heaven{H8064}; and there was a thick{H653} darkness{H2822} in all the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714} three{H7969} days{H3117}: 23 They saw{H7200}{(H8804)} not one{H376} another{H251}, neither rose{H6965}{(H8804)} any{H376} from his place for three{H7969} days{H3117}: but all the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478} had light{H216} in their dwellings{H4186}. 24 And Pharaoh{H6547} called{H7121}{(H8799)} unto Moses{H4872}, and said{H559}{(H8799)}, Go{H3212}{(H8798)} ye, serve{H5647}{(H8798)} the LORD{H3068}; only let your flocks{H6629} and your herds{H1241} be stayed{H3322}{(H8714)}: let your little ones{H2945} also go{H3212}{(H8799)} with you. 25 And Moses{H4872} said{H559}{(H8799)}, Thou must give{H5414}{(H8799)} us{H3027} also sacrifices{H2077} and burnt offerings{H5930}, that we may sacrifice{H6213}{(H8804)} unto the LORD{H3068} our God{H430}. 26 Our cattle{H4735} also shall go{H3212}{(H8799)} with us; there shall not an hoof{H6541} be left behind{H7604}{(H8735)}; for thereof must we take{H3947}{(H8799)} to serve{H5647}{(H8800)} the LORD{H3068} our God{H430}; and we know{H3045}{(H8799)} not with what we must serve{H5647}{(H8799)} the LORD{H3068}, until we come{H935}{(H8800)} thither. 27 But the LORD{H3068} hardened{H2388}{(H8762)} Pharaoh's{H6547} heart{H3820}, and he would{H14}{(H8804)} not let them go{H7971}{(H8763)}. 28 And Pharaoh{H6547} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto him, Get{H3212}{(H8798)} thee from me, take heed{H8104}{(H8734)} to thyself, see{H7200}{(H8800)} my face{H6440} no more{H3254}{(H8686)}; for in that day{H3117} thou seest{H7200}{(H8800)} my face{H6440} thou shalt die{H4191}{(H8799)}. 29 And Moses{H4872} said{H559}{(H8799)}, Thou hast spoken{H1696}{(H8765)} well{H3651}, I will see{H7200}{(H8800)} thy face{H6440} again{H3254}{(H8686)} no more. 1 And the LORD{H3068} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto Moses{H4872}, Yet will I bring{H935}{(H8686)} one{H259} plague{H5061} more upon Pharaoh{H6547}, and upon Egypt{H4714}; afterwards{H310} he will let you go{H7971}{(H8762)} hence: when he shall let you go{H7971}{(H8763)}, he shall surely{H1644}{(H8763)} thrust you out{H1644}{(H8762)} hence altogether{H3617}. 2 Speak{H1696}{(H8761)} now in the ears{H241} of the people{H5971}, and let every man{H376} borrow{H7592}{(H8799)} of his neighbour{H7453}, and every woman{H802} of her neighbour{H7468}, jewels{H3627} of silver{H3701}, and jewels{H3627} of gold{H2091}. 3 And the LORD{H3068} gave{H5414}{(H8799)} the people{H5971} favour{H2580} in the sight{H5869} of the Egyptians{H4714}. Moreover the man{H376} Moses{H4872} was very{H3966} great{H1419} in the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}, in the sight{H5869} of Pharaoh's{H6547} servants{H5650}, and in the sight{H5869} of the people{H5971}. 4 And Moses{H4872} said{H559}{(H8799)}, Thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068}, About midnight{H3915}{H2676} will I go out{H3318}{(H8802)} into the midst{H8432} of Egypt{H4714}: 5 And all the firstborn{H1060} in the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714} shall die{H4191}{(H8804)}, from the firstborn{H1060} of Pharaoh{H6547} that sitteth{H3427}{(H8802)} upon his throne{H3678}, even unto the firstborn{H1060} of the maidservant{H8198} that is behind{H310} the mill{H7347}; and all the firstborn{H1060} of beasts{H929}. 6 And there shall be{H1961}{(H8738)} a great{H1419} cry{H6818} throughout all the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}, such as there was none{H3808} like it, nor{H3808} shall be like it any more{H3254}{(H8686)}. 7 But against any of the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478} shall not a dog{H3611} move{H2782}{(H8799)} his tongue{H3956}, against man{H376} or beast{H929}: that ye may know{H3045}{(H8799)} how that the LORD{H3068} doth put a difference{H6395}{(H8686)} between the Egyptians{H4714} and Israel{H3478}. 8 And all these thy servants{H5650} shall come down{H3381}{(H8804)} unto me, and bow down{H7812}{(H8694)} themselves unto me, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, Get thee out{H3318}{(H8798)}, and all the people{H5971} that follow{H7272} thee: and after{H310} that I will go out{H3318}{(H8799)}. And he went out{H3318}{(H8799)} from Pharaoh{H6547} in a great{H2750} anger{H639}. 9 And the LORD{H3068} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto Moses{H4872}, Pharaoh{H6547} shall not hearken{H8085}{(H8799)} unto you; that my wonders{H4159} may be multiplied{H7235}{(H8800)} in the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}. 10 And Moses{H4872} and Aaron{H175} did{H6213}{(H8804)} all these wonders{H4159} before{H6440} Pharaoh{H6547}: and the LORD{H3068} hardened{H2388}{(H8762)} Pharaoh's{H6547} heart{H3820}, so that he would not let the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478} go out{H7971}{(H8765)} of his land{H776}. 1 And the LORD{H3068} spake{H559}{(H8799)} unto Moses{H4872} and Aaron{H175} in the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, 2 This month{H2320} shall be unto you the beginning{H7218} of months{H2320}: it shall be the first{H7223} month{H2320} of the year{H8141} to you. 3 Speak{H1696}{(H8761)} ye unto all the congregation{H5712} of Israel{H3478}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, In the tenth{H6218} day of this month{H2320} they shall take{H3947}{(H8799)} to them every man{H376} a lamb{H7716}, according to the house{H1004} of their fathers{H1}, a lamb{H7716} for an house{H1004}: 4 And if the household{H1004} be{H1961}{(H8800)} too little{H4591}{(H8799)} for the lamb{H7716}, let him and his neighbour{H7934} next{H7138} unto his house{H1004} take{H3947}{(H8804)} it according to the number{H4373} of the souls{H5315}; every man{H376} according{H6310} to his eating{H400} shall make your count{H3699}{(H8799)} for the lamb{H7716}. 5 Your lamb{H7716} shall be without blemish{H8549}, a male{H2145} of the first{H1121} year{H8141}: ye shall take{H3947}{(H8799)} it out from the sheep{H3532}, or from the goats{H5795}: 6 And ye shall keep{H4931} it up until the fourteenth{H702}{H6240} day{H3117} of the same month{H2320}: and the whole{H3605} assembly{H6951} of the congregation{H5712} of Israel{H3478} shall kill{H7819}{(H8804)} it in{H996} the evening{H6153}. 7 And they shall take{H3947}{(H8804)} of the blood{H1818}, and strike{H5414}{(H8804)} it on the two{H8147} side posts{H4201} and on the upper door post{H4947} of the houses{H1004}, wherein they shall eat{H398}{(H8799)} it. 8 And they shall eat{H398}{(H8804)} the flesh{H1320} in that night{H3915}, roast{H6748} with fire{H784}, and unleavened bread{H4682}; and with bitter{H4844} herbs they shall eat{H398}{(H8799)} it. 9 Eat{H398}{(H8799)} not of it raw{H4995}, nor sodden{H1310}{(H8794)}{H1311} at all with water{H4325}, but roast{H6748} with fire{H784}; his head{H7218} with his legs{H3767}, and with the purtenance{H7130} thereof. 10 And ye shall let nothing of it remain{H3498}{(H8686)} until the morning{H1242}; and that which remaineth{H3498}{(H8737)} of it until the morning{H1242} ye shall burn{H8313}{(H8799)} with fire{H784}. 11 And thus{H3602} shall ye eat{H398}{(H8799)} it; with your loins{H4975} girded{H2296}{(H8803)}, your shoes{H5275} on your feet{H7272}, and your staff{H4731} in your hand{H3027}; and ye shall eat{H398}{(H8804)} it in haste{H2649}: it is the LORD'S{H3068} passover{H6453}. 12 For I will pass{H5674}{(H8804)} through the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714} this night{H3915}, and will smite{H5221}{(H8689)} all the firstborn{H1060} in the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}, both man{H120} and beast{H929}; and against all the gods{H430} of Egypt{H4714} I will execute{H6213}{(H8799)} judgment{H8201}: I am the LORD{H3068}. 13 And the blood{H1818} shall be to you for a token{H226} upon the houses{H1004} where ye are: and when I see{H7200}{(H8804)} the blood{H1818}, I will pass{H6452}{(H8804)} over you, and the plague{H5063} shall not be upon you to destroy{H4889} you, when I smite{H5221}{(H8687)} the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}. 14 And this day{H3117} shall be unto you for a memorial{H2146}; and ye shall keep{H2287}{(H8804)} it a feast{H2282} to the LORD{H3068} throughout your generations{H1755}; ye shall keep it a feast{H2287}{(H8799)} by an ordinance{H2708} for ever{H5769}. 15 Seven{H7651} days{H3117} shall ye eat{H398}{(H8799)} unleavened bread{H4682}; even{H389} the first{H7223} day{H3117} ye shall put away{H7673}{(H8686)} leaven{H7603} out of your houses{H1004}: for whosoever eateth{H398}{(H8802)} leavened bread{H2557} from the first{H7223} day{H3117} until the seventh{H7637} day{H3117}, that soul{H5315} shall be cut{H3772}{(H8738)} off from Israel{H3478}. 16 And in the first{H7223} day{H3117} there shall be an holy{H6944} convocation{H4744}, and in the seventh{H7637} day{H3117} there shall be an holy{H6944} convocation{H4744} to you; no manner of work{H4399} shall be done{H6213}{(H8735)} in them, save{H389} that which every man{H5315} must eat{H398}{(H8735)}, that only may be done{H6213}{(H8735)} of you. 17 And ye shall observe{H8104}{(H8804)} the feast of unleavened bread{H4682}; for in this selfsame{H6106} day{H3117} have I brought{H3318}{(H8689)} your armies{H6635} out of the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}: therefore shall ye observe{H8104}{(H8804)} this day{H3117} in your generations{H1755} by an ordinance{H2708} for ever{H5769}. 18 In the first{H7223} month, on the fourteenth{H6240}{H702} day{H3117} of the month{H2320} at even{H6153}, ye shall eat{H398}{(H8799)} unleavened bread{H4682}, until the one{H259} and twentieth{H6242} day{H3117} of the month{H2320} at even{H6153}. 19 Seven{H7651} days{H3117} shall there be no leaven{H7603} found{H4672}{(H8735)} in your houses{H1004}: for whosoever eateth{H398}{(H8802)} that which is leavened{H2556}{(H8688)}, even that soul{H5315} shall be cut off{H3772}{(H8738)} from the congregation{H5712} of Israel{H3478}, whether he be a stranger{H1616}, or born{H249} in the land{H776}. 20 Ye shall eat{H398}{(H8799)} nothing leavened{H2556}{(H8688)}; in all your habitations{H4186} shall ye eat{H398}{(H8799)} unleavened bread{H4682}. 21 Then Moses{H4872} called{H7121}{(H8799)} for all the elders{H2205} of Israel{H3478}, and said{H559}{(H8799)} unto them, Draw out{H4900}{(H8798)} and take{H3947}{(H8798)} you a lamb{H6629} according to your families{H4940}, and kill{H7819}{(H8798)} the passover{H6453}. 22 And ye shall take{H3947}{(H8804)} a bunch{H92} of hyssop{H231}, and dip{H2881}{(H8804)} it in the blood{H1818} that is in the bason{H5592}, and strike{H5060}{(H8689)} the lintel{H4947} and the two{H8147} side posts{H4201} with the blood{H1818} that is in the bason{H5592};
