and they shall cleave{H1692}{(H8804)} unto thee. 61 Also every sickness{H2483}, and every plague{H4347}, which is not written{H3789}{(H8803)} in the book{H5612} of this law{H8451}, them will the LORD{H3068} bring{H5927}{(H8686)} upon thee, until thou be destroyed{H8045}{(H8736)}. 62 And ye shall be left{H7604}{(H8738)} few{H4592} in number{H4962}, whereas{H834} ye were as the stars{H3556} of heaven{H8064} for multitude{H7230}; because thou wouldest not obey{H8085}{(H8804)} the voice{H6963} of the LORD{H3068} thy God{H430}. 63 And it shall come to pass, that as the LORD{H3068} rejoiced{H7797}{(H8804)} over you to do you good{H3190}{(H8687)}, and to multiply{H7235}{(H8687)} you; Josh 22:16-18 : 16 Thus saith{H559}{(H8804)} the whole congregation{H5712} of the LORD{H3068}, What trespass{H4604} is this that ye have committed{H4603}{(H8804)} against the God{H430} of Israel{H3478}, to turn away{H7725}{(H8800)} this day{H3117} from following{H310} the LORD{H3068}, in that ye have builded{H1129}{(H8800)} you an altar{H4196}, that ye might rebel{H4775}{(H8800)} this day{H3117} against the LORD{H3068}? 17 Is the iniquity{H5771} of Peor{H6465} too little{H4592} for us, from which we are not cleansed{H2891}{(H8694)} until this day{H3117}, although there was a plague{H5063} in the congregation{H5712} of the LORD{H3068}, 18 But that ye must turn away{H7725}{(H8799)} this day{H3117} from following{H310} the LORD{H3068}? and it will be, seeing ye rebel{H4775}{(H8799)} to day{H3117} against the LORD{H3068}, that to morrow{H4279} he will be wroth{H7107}{(H8799)} with the whole congregation{H5712} of Israel{H3478}.
2 Chr 7:19-22 : 19 But if ye turn away{H7725}{(H8799)}, and forsake{H5800}{(H8804)} my statutes{H2708} and my commandments{H4687}, which I have set{H5414}{(H8804)} before{H6440} you, and shall go{H1980}{(H8804)} and serve{H5647}{(H8804)} other{H312} gods{H430}, and worship{H7812}{(H8694)} them; 20 Then will I pluck them up by the roots{H5428}{(H8804)} out of my land{H127} which I have given{H5414}{(H8804)} them; and this house{H1004}, which I have sanctified{H6942}{(H8689)} for my name{H8034}, will I cast out{H7993}{(H8686)} of my sight{H6440}, and will make{H5414}{(H8799)} it to be a proverb{H4912} and a byword{H8148} among all nations{H5971}. 21 And this house{H1004}, which is high{H5945}, shall be an astonishment{H8074}{(H8799)} to every one that passeth{H5674}{(H8802)} by it; so that he shall say{H559}{(H8804)}, Why hath the LORD{H3068} done{H6213}{(H8804)} thus unto this land{H776}, and unto this house{H1004}? 22 And it shall be answered{H559}{(H8804)}, Because they forsook{H5800}{(H8804)} the LORD{H3068} God{H430} of their fathers{H1}, which brought them forth{H3318}{(H8689)} out of the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}, and laid hold{H2388}{(H8686)} on other{H312} gods{H430}, and worshipped{H7812}{(H8691)} them, and served{H5647}{(H8799)} them: therefore hath he brought{H935}{(H8689)} all this evil{H7451} upon them.
