Verse 6

Speak{H1696}{(H8761)} unto the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478}, When a man{H376} or woman{H802} shall commit{H6213}{(H8799)} any sin{H2403} that men{H120} commit{H4603}{(H8800)}, to do a trespass{H4604} against the LORD{H3068}, and that person{H5315} be guilty{H816}{(H8804)};

• Lev 5:14-6:7 : 14 And the LORD{H3068} spake{H1696}{(H8762)} unto Moses{H4872}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, 15 If a soul{H5315} commit{H4603}{(H8799)} a trespass{H4604}, and sin{H2398}{(H8804)} through ignorance{H7684}, in the holy things{H6944} of the LORD{H3068}; then he shall bring{H935}{(H8689)} for his trespass{H817} unto the LORD{H3068} a ram{H352} without blemish{H8549} out of the flocks{H6629}, with thy estimation{H6187} by shekels{H8255} of silver{H3701}, after the shekel{H8255} of the sanctuary{H6944}, for a trespass offering{H817}: 16 And he shall make amends{H7999}{(H8762)} for the harm{H2398}{(H8804)} that he hath done in the holy thing{H6944}, and shall add{H3254}{(H8686)} the fifth part{H2549} thereto, and give{H5414}{(H8804)} it unto the priest{H3548}: and the priest{H3548} shall make an atonement{H3722}{(H8762)} for him with the ram{H352} of the trespass offering{H817}, and it shall be forgiven{H5545}{(H8738)} him. 17 And if a soul{H5315} sin{H2398}{(H8799)}, and commit{H6213}{(H8804)} any{H259} of these things which are forbidden to be done{H6213}{(H8735)} by the commandments{H4687} of the LORD{H3068}; though he wist{H3045}{(H8804)} it not, yet is he guilty{H816}{(H8804)}, and shall bear{H5375}{(H8804)} his iniquity{H5771}. 18 And he shall bring{H935}{(H8689)} a ram{H352} without blemish{H8549} out of the flock{H6629}, with thy estimation{H6187}, for a trespass offering{H817}, unto the priest{H3548}: and the priest{H3548} shall make an atonement{H3722}{(H8765)} for him concerning his ignorance{H7684} wherein he erred{H7683}{(H8804)} and wist{H3045}{(H8804)} it not, and it shall be forgiven{H5545}{(H8738)} him. 19 It is a trespass offering{H817}: he hath certainly{H816}{(H8800)} trespassed{H816}{(H8804)} against the LORD{H3068}. 1 And the LORD{H3068} spake{H1696}{(H8762)} unto Moses{H4872}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, 2 If a soul{H5315} sin{H2398}{(H8799)}, and commit{H4603}{(H8804)} a trespass{H4604} against the LORD{H3068}, and lie{H3584}{(H8765)} unto his neighbour{H5997} in that which was delivered{H6487} him to keep, or in fellowship{H8667}{H3027}, or in a thing taken away by violence{H1498}, or hath deceived{H6231}{(H8804)} his neighbour{H5997}; 3 Or have found{H4672}{(H8804)} that which was lost{H9}, and lieth{H3584}{(H8765)} concerning it, and sweareth{H7650}{(H8738)} falsely{H8267}; in any{H259} of all these that a man{H120} doeth{H6213}{(H8799)}, sinning{H2398}{(H8800)} therein{H2007}: 4 Then it shall be, because he hath sinned{H2398}{(H8799)}, and is guilty{H816}{(H8804)}, that he shall restore{H7725}{(H8689)} that{H1500} which he took violently away{H1497}{(H8804)}, or the thing{H6233} which he hath deceitfully gotten{H6231}{(H8804)}, or that which was delivered{H6487}{H853} him to keep{H6485}{(H8717)}, or the lost thing{H9} which he found{H4672}{(H8804)}, 5 Or all that about which he hath sworn{H7650}{(H8735)} falsely{H8267}; he shall even restore{H7999}{(H8765)} it in the principal{H7218}, and shall add{H3254} the fifth part{H2549} more{H3254}{(H8686)} thereto, and give{H5414}{(H8799)} it unto him to whom it appertaineth, in the day{H3117} of his trespass offering{H819}. 6 And he shall bring{H935}{(H8686)} his trespass offering{H817} unto the LORD{H3068}, a ram{H352} without blemish{H8549} out of the flock{H6629}, with thy estimation{H6187}, for a trespass offering{H817}, unto the priest{H3548}: 7 And the priest{H3548} shall make an atonement{H3722}{(H8765)} for him before{H6440} the LORD{H3068}: and it shall be forgiven{H5545}{(H8738)} him for any thing{H259} of all that he hath done{H6213}{(H8799)} in trespassing{H819} therein.
