So the plague{H4046} was stayed{H6113}{(H8735)} from the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478}. 9 And those that died{H4191}{(H8801)} in the plague{H4046} were twenty{H6242} and four{H702} thousand{H505}. 10 And the LORD{H3068} spake{H1696}{(H8762)} unto Moses{H4872}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, 11 Phinehas{H6372}, the son{H1121} of Eleazar{H499}, the son{H1121} of Aaron{H175} the priest{H3548}, hath turned{H7725} my wrath{H2534} away{H7725}{(H8689)} from the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478}, while he was zealous{H7065}{(H8763)} for my sake{H7068} among{H8432} them, that I consumed{H3615}{(H8765)} not the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478} in my jealousy{H7068}. 12 Wherefore say{H559}{(H8798)}, Behold, I give{H5414}{(H8802)} unto him my covenant{H1285} of peace{H7965}: 13 And he shall have it, and his seed{H2233} after{H310} him, even the covenant{H1285} of an everlasting{H5769} priesthood{H3550}; because{H834} he was zealous{H7065}{(H8765)} for his God{H430}, and made an atonement{H3722}{(H8762)} for the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478}. 14 Now the name{H8034} of the Israelite{H376} that was slain{H5221}{(H8716)}, even that was slain{H5221}{(H8717)} with the Midianitish woman{H4084}, was Zimri{H2174}, the son{H1121} of Salu{H5543}, a prince{H5387} of a chief{H1} house{H1004} among the Simeonites{H8099}. 15 And the name{H8034} of the Midianitish{H4084} woman{H802} that was slain{H5221}{(H8716)} was Cozbi{H3579}, the daughter{H1323} of Zur{H6698}; he was head{H7218} over a people{H523}, and of a chief{H1} house{H1004} in Midian{H4080}. 16 And the LORD{H3068} spake{H1696}{(H8762)} unto Moses{H4872}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, 17 Vex{H6887}{(H8800)} the Midianites{H4084}, and smite{H5221}{(H8689)} them: 18 For they vex{H6887}{(H8802)} you with their wiles{H5231}, wherewith they have beguiled{H5230}{(H8765)} you in the matter{H1697} of Peor{H6465}, and in the matter{H1697} of Cozbi{H3579}, the daughter{H1323} of a prince{H5387} of Midian{H4080}, their sister{H269}, which was slain{H5221}{(H8716)} in the day{H3117} of the plague{H4046} for Peor's{H6465} sake{H1697}.
Num 28:1-9 : 1 And the LORD{H3068} spake{H1696}{(H8762)} unto Moses{H4872}, saying{H559}{(H8800)}, 2 Command{H6680}{(H8761)} the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478}, and say{H559}{(H8804)} unto them, My offering{H7133}, and my bread{H3899} for my sacrifices made by fire{H801}, for a sweet{H5207} savour{H7381} unto me, shall ye observe{H8104}{(H8799)} to offer{H7126}{(H8687)} unto me in their due season{H4150}. 3 And thou shalt say{H559}{(H8804)} unto them, This is the offering made by fire{H801} which ye shall offer{H7126}{(H8686)} unto the LORD{H3068}; 5 And a tenth{H6224} part of an ephah{H374} of flour{H5560} for a meat offering{H4503}, mingled{H1101}{(H8803)} with the fourth{H7243} part of an hin{H1969} of beaten{H3795} oil{H8081}. 6 It is a continual{H8548} burnt offering{H5930}, which was ordained{H6213}{(H8803)} in mount{H2022} Sinai{H5514} for a sweet{H5207} savour{H7381}, a sacrifice made by fire{H801} unto the LORD{H3068}. 7 And the drink offering{H5262} thereof shall be the fourth{H7243} part of an hin{H1969} for the one{H259} lamb{H3532}: in the holy{H6944} place shalt thou cause the strong wine{H7941} to be poured{H5258}{(H8685)} unto the LORD{H3068} for a drink offering{H5262}. 8 And the other{H8145} lamb{H3532} shalt thou offer{H6213}{(H8799)} at even{H6153}: as the meat offering{H4503} of the morning{H1242}, and as the drink offering{H5262} thereof, thou shalt offer{H6213}{(H8799)} it, a sacrifice made by fire{H801}, of a sweet{H5207} savour{H7381} unto the LORD{H3068}. 9 And on the sabbath{H7676} day{H3117} two{H8147} lambs{H3532} of the first{H1121} year{H8141} without spot{H8549}, and two{H8147} tenth{H6241} deals of flour{H5560} for a meat offering{H4503}, mingled{H1101}{(H8803)} with oil{H8081}, and the drink offering{H5262} thereof: 10 This is the burnt offering{H5930} of every sabbath{H7676}, beside the continual{H8548} burnt offering{H5930}, and his drink offering{H5262}. 11 And in the beginnings{H7218} of your months{H2320} ye shall offer{H7126}{(H8686)} a burnt offering{H5930} unto the LORD{H3068};
