Verse 1
Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may spread quickly and be honored, just as it is with you.

Verse 2
And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked people, for not everyone has faith.
And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.

But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from evil.
But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
Verse 4
And we have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you both do and will do the things we command you.
And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.
Verse 5
May the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patient waiting for Christ.

Verse 6
Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw yourselves from every brother who walks disorderly and not according to the tradition which he received from us.

Verse 7
For you yourselves know how you ought to follow us, for we did not behave disorderly among you.

Nor did we eat anyone's bread without paying for it, but we worked with labor and toil night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you.
Neither did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:
Verse 9
Not because we do not have the right, but to make ourselves an example for you to follow.
Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.
Verse 10
For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat.
For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.
Verse 11
For we hear that there are some who walk among you disorderly, not working at all, but being busybodies.

Now those who are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that they work quietly and eat their own bread.

But you, brothers, do not grow weary in doing good.
But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.

And if anyone does not obey our word in this letter, note that person and do not associate with him, that he may be ashamed.
And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.
Verse 15
Yet do not count him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all.
