Then the LORD said to Moses, Go to Pharaoh, and tell him, Thus says the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

For if you refuse to let them go, and continue to hold them,

For if thou refuse to let them go, and wilt hold them still,

Behold, the hand of the LORD is upon your cattle which are in the field, upon the horses, the donkeys, the camels, the oxen, and the sheep: there shall be a very severe pestilence.

And the LORD will make a distinction between the livestock of Israel and the livestock of Egypt: and nothing shall die of all that belongs to the children of Israel.

Behold, tomorrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very severe hail, such as has not been in Egypt since its foundation until now.

He that feared the word of the LORD among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses.

And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and fire ran along the ground; and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt.

And the flax and the barley were struck, for the barley was in the ear, and the flax was in bud.

But the wheat and the rye were not struck, for they were not grown up.

And Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh, and spread out his hands to the LORD: and the thunder and hail ceased, and the rain was not poured on the earth.
