David Thanks God That day David first gave to Asaph and his colleagues this song of thanks to the LORD.

2 Sam 22:1 : 1 David Sings to the Lord David sang to the LORD the words of this song when the LORD rescued him from the power of all his enemies, including Saul.
2 Sam 23:1-2 : 1 David’s Final Words These are the final words of David:“The oracle of David son of Jesse, the oracle of the man raised up as the ruler chosen by the God of Jacob, Israel’s beloved singer of songs: 2 The LORD’s Spirit spoke through me; his word was on my tongue.
2 Chr 29:30 : 30 King Hezekiah and the officials told the Levites to praise the LORD, using the psalms of David and Asaph the prophet. So they joyfully offered praise and bowed down and worshiped.
Neh 12:24 : 24 And the leaders of the Levites were Hashabiah, Sherebiah, Jeshua son of Kadmiel, and their colleagues, who stood opposite them to offer praise and thanks, one contingent corresponding to the other, as specified by David the man of God.
