Verse 16

But he replied,“I can’t go back with you. I am not allowed to eat food or to drink water with you in this place.

1 Kgs 13:8-9 : 8 But the prophet said to the king,“Even if you were to give me half your possessions, I would not go with you. I am not allowed to eat food or drink water in this place. 9 For this is how I was commanded in the LORD’s message,‘Eat no food. Drink no water. And do not return by the way you came.’”
Matt 4:10 : 10 Then Jesus said to him,“Go away, Satan! For it is written:‘You are to worship the Lord your God and serve only him.’”
Matt 16:23 : 23 But he turned and said to Peter,“Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me, because you are not setting your mind on God’s interests, but on man’s.”
Gen 3:1-3 : 1 The Temptation and the Fall Now the serpent was more shrewd than any of the wild animals that the LORD God had made.
