Verse 12

Zimri destroyed Baasha’s entire family, in keeping with the LORD’s message which he had spoken against Baasha through Jehu the prophet.

1 Kgs 16:1 : 1 The LORD’S message against Baasha came to Jehu son of Hanani:
1 Kgs 16:3 : 3 So I am ready to burn up Baasha and his family, and make your family like the family of Jeroboam son of Nebat.
1 Kgs 16:7 : 7 And so it was the LORD’S message came through the prophet Jehu son of Hanani against Baasha and his family. This was because of all the evil he had done in the LORD’S view, by angering him with his deeds and becoming like Jereboam’s dynasty, and because of how he had destroyed Jeroboam’s dynasty.
2 Kgs 14:25 : 25 He restored the border of Israel from Lebo Hamath in the north to the sea of the rift valley in the south, just as in the message from the LORD God of Israel that he had announced through his servant Jonah son of Amittai, the prophet from Gath Hepher.
2 Chr 10:15 : 15 The king refused to listen to the people, because God was instigating this turn of events so that he might bring to pass the prophetic announcement he had made through Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam son of Nebat.
Prov 26:6 : 6 Like cutting off the feet or drinking violence, so is sending a message by the hand of a fool.
1 Kgs 14:18 : 18 All Israel buried him and mourned for him, in keeping with the LORD’s message that he had spoken through his servant, the prophet Ahijah.
