Verse 30

Now the king of Syria had ordered his chariot commanders,“Do not fight common soldiers or high ranking officers; fight only the king of Israel!”

Gen 19:11 : 11 Then they struck the men who were at the door of the house, from the youngest to the oldest, with blindness. The men outside wore themselves out trying to find the door.
Deut 1:17 : 17 They must not discriminate in judgment, but hear the lowly and the great alike. Nor should they be intimidated by human beings, for judgment belongs to God. If the matter being adjudicated is too difficult for them, they should bring it before me for a hearing.
1 Kgs 20:33-34 : 33 The men took this as a good omen and quickly accepted his offer, saying,“Ben Hadad is your brother.” Ahab then said,“Go, get him.” So Ben Hadad came out to him, and Ahab pulled him up into his chariot. 34 Ben Hadad said,“I will return the cities my father took from your father. You may set up markets in Damascus, just as my father did in Samaria.” Ahab then said,“I want to make a treaty with you before I dismiss you.” So he made a treaty with him and then dismissed him.
1 Kgs 20:42 : 42 The prophet then said to him,“This is what the LORD has said,‘Because you released a man I had determined should die, you will pay with your life and your people will suffer instead of his people.’”
2 Chr 15:13 : 13 Anyone who would not seek the LORD God of Israel would be executed, whether they were young or old, male or female.
