Verse 20

For every one of God’s promises are“Yes” in him; therefore also through him the“Amen” is spoken, to the glory we give to God.

Heb 7:6 : 6 But Melchizedek who does not share their ancestry collected a tithe from Abraham and blessed the one who possessed the promise.
Heb 9:10-15 : 10 They served only for matters of food and drink and various ritual washings; they are external regulations imposed until the new order came. 11 Christ’s Service in the Heavenly Sanctuary But now Christ has come as the high priest of the good things to come. Heb 11:13 : 13 These all died in faith without receiving the things promised, but they saw them in the distance and welcomed them and acknowledged that they were strangers and foreigners on the earth.
Heb 11:39-40 : 39 And these all were commended for their faith, yet they did not receive what was promised. 40 For God had provided something better for us, so that they would be made perfect together with us.
2 Cor 4:15 : 15 For all these things are for your sake, so that the grace that is including more and more people may cause thanksgiving to increase to the glory of God.
Gal 3:16-18 : 16 Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his descendant. Scripture does not say,“and to the descendants,” referring to many, but“and to your descendant,” referring to one, who is Christ. 17 What I am saying is this: The law that came four hundred thirty years later does not cancel a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to invalidate the promise. 18 For if the inheritance is based on the law, it is no longer based on the promise, but God graciously gave it to Abraham through the promise.
