Verse 32

In those days the LORD began to reduce the size of Israel’s territory. Hazael attacked their eastern border.

1 Kgs 19:17 : 17 Jehu will kill anyone who escapes Hazael’s sword, and Elisha will kill anyone who escapes Jehu’s sword.
2 Kgs 8:12 : 12 Hazael asked,“Why are you crying, my master?” He replied,“Because I know the trouble you will cause the Israelites. You will set fire to their fortresses, kill their young men with the sword, smash their children to bits, and rip open their pregnant women.”
2 Kgs 13:22 : 22 Now King Hazael of Syria oppressed Israel throughout Jehoahaz’s reign.
2 Kgs 13:25 : 25 Jehoahaz’s son Jehoash took back from Ben Hadad son of Hazael the cities that he had taken from his father Jehoahaz in war. Joash defeated him three times and recovered the Israelite cities.
2 Kgs 14:25 : 25 He restored the border of Israel from Lebo Hamath in the north to the sea of the rift valley in the south, just as in the message from the LORD God of Israel that he had announced through his servant Jonah son of Amittai, the prophet from Gath Hepher.
