Verse 40

The stew was poured out for the men to eat. When they ate some of the stew, they cried out,“Death is in the pot, O prophet!” They could not eat it.

Exod 10:17 : 17 So now, forgive my sin this time only, and pray to the LORD your God that he would only take this death away from me.”
Exod 15:23 : 23 Then they came to Marah, but they were not able to drink the waters of Marah, because they were bitter.(That is why its name was Marah.)

2 Kgs 1:13 : 13 The king sent a third captain and his fifty soldiers. This third captain went up and fell on his knees before Elijah. He begged for mercy,“Prophet, please have respect for my life and for the lives of these fifty servants of yours.
2 Kgs 4:9 : 9 She said to her husband,“Look, I’m sure that the man who regularly passes through here is a very special prophet.
Mark 16:18 : 18 they will pick up snakes with their hands, and whatever poison they drink will not harm them; they will place their hands on the sick and they will be well.”
