The False Teachers’ Denial of the Lord’s Return Dear friends, this is already the second letter I have written you, in which I am trying to stir up your pure mind by way of reminder:

• 1 Pet 1:1-2 : 1 ¶ Salutation From Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to those temporarily residing abroad(in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, the province of Asia, and Bithynia) who are chosen 2 according to the foreknowledge of God the Father by being set apart by the Spirit for obedience and for sprinkling with Jesus Christ’s blood. May grace and peace be yours in full measure!
• 1 Pet 1:22 : 22 You have purified your souls by obeying the truth in order to show sincere mutual love. So love one another earnestly from a pure heart.
• Ps 73:1 : 1 Book 3(Psalms 73-89) A psalm by Asaph. Certainly God is good to Israel, and to those whose motives are pure!
• 1 Tim 5:22 : 22 Do not lay hands on anyone hastily and so identify with the sins of others. Keep yourself pure.
• Ps 24:4 : 4 The one whose deeds are blameless and whose motives are pure, who does not lie, or make promises with no intention of keeping them.
• Matt 5:8 : 8 “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
