Verse 4

This seemed like a good idea to Absalom and to all the leaders of Israel.

1 Sam 18:20-21 : 20 Now Michal, Saul’s daughter, loved David. When they told Saul about this, it pleased him. 21 Saul said,“I will give her to him so that she may become a snare to him and the hand of the Philistines may be against him.” So Saul said to David,“Today is the second time for you to become my son-in-law.”
1 Sam 23:21 : 21 Saul replied,“May you be blessed by the LORD, for you have had compassion on me.
2 Chr 30:4 : 4 The proposal seemed appropriate to the king and the entire assembly.
Esth 1:21 : 21 The matter seemed appropriate to the king and the officials. So the king acted on the advice of Memucan.
Esth 5:14 : 14 Haman’s wife Zeresh and all his friends said to him,“Have a gallows seventy-five feet high built, and in the morning tell the king that Mordecai should be hanged on it. Then go with the king to the banquet contented.” It seemed like a good idea to Haman, so he had the gallows built.
Rom 1:32 : 32 Although they fully know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but also approve of those who practice them.
