Verse 2

So I will set Moab on fire, and it will consume Kerioth’s fortresses. Moab will perish in the heat of battle amid war cries and the blaring of the ram’s horn.

Referenced Verses

• Jer 48:24 : 24 on Kerioth and Bozrah. It will come on all the towns of Moab, both far and near.
• Jer 48:41 : 41 Her towns will be captured. Her fortresses will be taken. At that time the soldiers of Moab will be frightened like a woman in labor.
• Amos 1:14 : 14 So I will set fire to Rabbah’s city wall; fire will consume her fortresses. War cries will be heard on the day of battle; a strong gale will blow on the day of the windstorm.
