Verse 14

You must not go after other gods, those of the surrounding peoples,

Jer 25:6 : 6 Do not pay allegiance to other gods and worship and serve them. Do not make me angry by the things that you do. Then I will not cause you any harm.’
Deut 8:19 : 19 Now if you forget the LORD your God at all and follow other gods, worshiping and prostrating yourselves before them, I testify to you today that you will surely be annihilated.
Deut 13:7 : 7 the gods of the surrounding people(whether near you or far from you, from one end of the earth to the other).
Deut 11:28 : 28 and the curse if you pay no attention to his commandments and turn from the way I am setting before you today to pursue other gods you have not known.
1 John 5:21 : 21 Little children, guard yourselves from idols.
Exod 34:14-16 : 14 For you must not worship any other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God. 15 Be careful not to make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, for when they prostitute themselves to their gods and sacrifice to their gods, and someone invites you, you will eat from his sacrifice; 16 and you then take his daughters for your sons, and when his daughters prostitute themselves to their gods, they will make your sons prostitute themselves to their gods as well.
