Verse 17

Blessed are you, O land, when your king is the son of nobility, and your princes feast at the proper time– with self-control and not in drunkenness.

Prov 31:4-5 : 4 It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine, or for rulers to crave strong drink, 5 lest they drink and forget what is decreed, and remove from all the poor their legal rights.
Eccl 10:6-7 : 6 Fools are placed in many positions of authority, while wealthy men sit in lowly positions. 7 I have seen slaves on horseback and princes walking on foot like slaves.
Isa 5:11 : 11 Beware, those who get up early to drink beer, those who keep drinking long after dark until they are intoxicated with wine.
Jer 30:21 : 21 One of their own people will be their leader. Their ruler will come from their own number. I will invite him to approach me, and he will do so. For no one would dare approach me on his own. I, the LORD, affirm it!
Deut 14:26 : 26 Then you may spend the money however you wish for cattle, sheep, wine, beer, or whatever you desire. You and your household may eat there in the presence of the LORD your God and enjoy it.
Prov 28:2-3 : 2 When a country is rebellious it has many princes, but by someone who is discerning and knowledgeable order is maintained. 3 A poor person who oppresses the weak is like a driving rain without food.
