Verse 24

Moses listened to his father-in-law and did everything he had said.

Exod 18:2-5 : 2 Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, took Moses’ wife Zipporah after he had sent her back, 3 and her two sons, one of whom was named Gershom(for Moses had said,“I have been a foreigner in a foreign land”), 4 and the other Eliezer(for Moses had said,“The God of my father has been my help and delivered me from the sword of Pharaoh”). 5 Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, together with Moses’ sons and his wife, came to Moses in the wilderness where he was camping by the mountain of God.
Exod 18:19 : 19 Now listen to me, I will give you advice, and may God be with you: You be a representative for the people to God, and you bring their disputes to God;
Ezra 10:2 : 2 Then Shecaniah son of Jehiel, from the descendants of Elam, addressed Ezra:“We have been unfaithful to our God by marrying foreign women from the local peoples. Nonetheless, there is still hope for Israel in this regard.
Ezra 10:5 : 5 So Ezra got up and made the leading priests and Levites and all Israel take an oath to carry out this plan. And they all took a solemn oath.
