Verse 2

After they journeyed from Rephidim, they came to the desert of Sinai, and they camped in the desert; Israel camped there in front of the mountain.

Exod 17:1 : 1 Water at Massa and Meribah The whole community of the Israelites traveled on their journey from the wilderness of Sin according to the LORD’s instruction, and they pitched camp in Rephidim. Now there was no water for the people to drink.
Exod 3:1 : 1 Now Moses was shepherding the flock of his father-in-law Jethro, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the far side of the desert and came to the mountain of God, to Horeb.
Exod 3:12 : 12 He replied,“Surely I will be with you, and this will be the sign to you that I have sent you: When you bring the people out of Egypt, you and they will serve God at this mountain.”
Exod 17:8 : 8 Victory over the Amalekites Amalek came and attacked Israel in Rephidim.
Exod 18:5 : 5 Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, together with Moses’ sons and his wife, came to Moses in the wilderness where he was camping by the mountain of God.
Acts 7:30 : 30 “After forty years had passed, an angel appeared to him in the desert of Mount Sinai, in the flame of a burning bush.
Acts 7:38 : 38 This is the man who was in the congregation in the wilderness with the angel who spoke to him at Mount Sinai, and with our ancestors, and he received living oracles to give to you.
Gal 4:24 : 24 These things may be treated as an allegory, for these women represent two covenants. One is from Mount Sinai bearing children for slavery; this is Hagar.
