Verse 17

Now the appearance of the glory of the LORD was like a devouring fire on the top of the mountain in plain view of the people.

Exod 3:2 : 2 The angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire from within a bush. He looked– and the bush was ablaze with fire, but it was not being consumed!
Heb 12:29 : 29 For our God is indeed a devouring fire.
Heb 12:18 : 18 For you have not come to something that can be touched, to a burning fire and darkness and gloom and a whirlwind
Deut 4:36 : 36 From heaven he spoke to you in order to teach you, and on earth he showed you his great fire from which you also heard his words.
