Verse 6

“‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Because you think you are godlike,

Ezek 28:2 : 2 “Son of man, say to the prince of Tyre,‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says:“‘Your heart is proud and you said,“I am a god; I sit in the seat of gods, in the heart of the seas”– yet you are a man and not a god, though you think you are godlike.
Exod 9:17 : 17 You are still exalting yourself against my people by not releasing them.
Job 9:4 : 4 He is wise in heart and mighty in strength– who has resisted him and remained safe?
Job 40:9-9 : 9 Do you have an arm as powerful as God’s, and can you thunder with a voice like his? 10 Adorn yourself, then, with majesty and excellency, and clothe yourself with glory and honor! 11 Scatter abroad the abundance of your anger. Look at every proud man and bring him low; 12 Look at every proud man and abase him; crush the wicked on the spot!
1 Cor 10:22 : 22 Or are we trying to provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we really stronger than he is?
2 Thess 2:4 : 4 He opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, and as a result he takes his seat in God’s temple, displaying himself as God.
Jas 1:11 : 11 For the sun rises with its heat and dries up the meadow; the petal of the flower falls off and its beauty is lost forever. So also the rich person in the midst of his pursuits will wither away.
