Verse 5

For you are not being sent to a people of unintelligible speech and difficult language, but to the house of Israel–

Jonah 1:2 : 2 “Go immediately to Nineveh, that large capital city, and announce judgment against its people because their wickedness has come to my attention.”
Isa 33:19 : 19 You will no longer see a defiant people whose language you do not comprehend, whose derisive speech you do not understand.
Ezek 3:6 : 6 not to many peoples of unintelligible speech and difficult language, whose words you cannot understand– surely if I had sent you to them, they would listen to you!
Ps 81:5 : 5 He decreed it as a regulation in Joseph, when he attacked the land of Egypt. I heard a voice I did not recognize.
Isa 28:11 : 11 For with mocking lips and a foreign tongue he will speak to these people.
Jonah 3:2-4 : 2 “Go immediately to Nineveh, that large city, and proclaim to it the message that I tell you.” 3 So Jonah went immediately to Nineveh, in keeping with the LORD’s message.(Now Nineveh was an enormous city– it required three days to walk through it!) 4 When Jonah began to enter the city one day’s walk, he announced,“At the end of forty days, Nineveh will be overthrown!”
Acts 26:17-18 : 17 I will rescue you from your own people and from the Gentiles, to whom I am sending you 18 to open their eyes so that they turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a share among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’
