Verse 18

It was made with cherubim and decorative palm trees, with a palm tree between each cherub. Each cherub had two faces:

  • 1 Kgs 7:36 : 36 He engraved ornamental cherubim, lions, and palm trees on the plates of the supports and frames wherever there was room, with wreaths all around.
  • Ezek 40:16 : 16 There were closed windows toward the alcoves and toward their jambs within the gate all around, and likewise for the porches. There were windows all around the inside, and on each jamb were decorative palm trees.

He plated the cherubim and the palm trees with hammered gold.
