Verse 24

Then they took him and threw him into the cistern.(Now the cistern was empty; there was no water in it.)

Jer 38:6 : 6 So the officials took Jeremiah and put him in the cistern of Malkijah, one of the royal princes, that was in the courtyard of the guardhouse. There was no water in the cistern, only mud. So when they lowered Jeremiah into the cistern with ropes he sank in the mud.
Lam 3:52-55 : 52 צ(Tsade) For no good reason my enemies hunted me down like a bird. 53 They shut me up in a pit and threw stones at me. 54 The waters closed over my head; I thought I was about to die. 55 ק(Qof) I have called on your name, O LORD, from the deepest pit.
Lam 4:20 : 20 ר(Resh) Our very life breath– the LORD’s anointed king– was caught in their traps, of whom we thought,“Under his protection we will survive among the nations.”
Zech 9:11 : 11 Moreover, as for you, because of our covenant relationship secured with blood, I will release your prisoners from the waterless pit.
Ps 35:7 : 7 I did not harm them, but they hid a net to catch me and dug a pit to trap me.
Ps 40:2 : 2 He lifted me out of the watery pit, out of the slimy mud. He placed my feet on a rock and gave me secure footing.
Ps 88:6 : 6 You place me in the lowest regions of the Pit, in the dark places, in the watery depths.
Ps 88:8 : 8 You cause those who know me to keep their distance; you make me an appalling sight to them. I am trapped and cannot get free.
