Verse 2

The fountains of the deep and the floodgates of heaven were closed, and the rain stopped falling from the sky.

Gen 7:11 : 11 In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month– on that day all the fountains of the great deep burst open and the floodgates of the heavens were opened.
Job 37:11-13 : 11 He loads the clouds with moisture; he scatters his lightning through the clouds. 12 The clouds go round in circles, wheeling about according to his plans, to carry out all that he commands them over the face of the whole inhabited world. 13 Whether it is for punishment, or for his land, or for mercy, he causes it to find its mark.
Job 38:37 : 37 Who by wisdom can count the clouds, and who can tip over the water jars of heaven,
Prov 8:28 : 28 when he established the clouds above, when he secured the fountains of the deep,
Jonah 2:3 : 3 You threw me into the deep waters, into the middle of the sea; the ocean current engulfed me; all the mighty waves you sent swept over me.
Matt 8:9 : 9 For I too am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I say to this one,‘Go!’ and he goes, and to another‘Come!’ and he comes, and to my slave‘Do this!’ and he does it.”
Matt 8:26-27 : 26 But he said to them,“Why are you cowardly, you people of little faith?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it was dead calm. 27 And the men were amazed and said,“What sort of person is this? Even the winds and the sea obey him!”
