Verse 31

It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Isa 33:14 : 14 Sinners are afraid in Zion; panic grips the godless. They say,‘Who among us can coexist with destructive fire? Who among us can coexist with unquenchable fire?’
Matt 10:28 : 28 Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Instead, fear the one who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Luke 12:5 : 5 But I will warn you whom you should fear: Fear the one who, after the killing, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him!
Heb 12:29 : 29 For our God is indeed a devouring fire.
Heb 10:27 : 27 but only a certain fearful expectation of judgment and a fury of fire that will consume God’s enemies.
Matt 16:16 : 16 Simon Peter answered,“You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Luke 21:11 : 11 There will be great earthquakes, and famines and plagues in various places, and there will be terrifying sights and great signs from heaven.
