“I thought,‘In the middle of my life I must walk through the gates of Sheol, I am deprived of the rest of my years.’

2 Cor 1:9 : 9 Indeed we felt as if the sentence of death had been passed against us, so that we would not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead.
Ps 102:24 : 24 I say,“O my God, please do not take me away in the middle of my life! You endure through all generations.

Isa 38:1 : 1 The Lord Hears Hezekiah’s Prayer In those days Hezekiah was stricken with a terminal illness. The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz visited him and told him,“This is what the LORD says,‘Give instructions to your household, for you are about to die; you will not get well.’”
Job 6:11 : 11 What is my strength, that I should wait? and what is my end, that I should prolong my life?
Job 7:7 : 7 Remember that my life is but a breath, that my eyes will never again see happiness.
Job 17:11-16 : 11 My days have passed, my plans are shattered, even the desires of my heart. 12 These men change night into day; they say,‘The light is near in the face of darkness.’ 13 If I hope for the grave to be my home, if I spread out my bed in darkness, 14 If I cry to corruption,‘You are my father,’ and to the worm,‘My mother,’ or‘My sister,’ 15 where then is my hope? And my hope, who sees it? 16 Will it go down to the barred gates of death? Will we descend together into the dust?”
