Verse 26

For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.

Jas 2:20 : 20 But would you like evidence, you empty fellow, that faith without works is useless?
Jas 2:17 : 17 So also faith, if it does not have works, is dead being by itself.
Eccl 12:7 : 7 and the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the life’s breath returns to God who gave it.
Isa 2:22 : 22 Stop trusting in human beings, whose life’s breath is in their nostrils. For why should they be given special consideration?
Luke 23:46 : 46 Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said,“Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” And after he said this he breathed his last.
Acts 7:59-60 : 59 They continued to stone Stephen while he prayed,“Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!” 60 Then he fell to his knees and cried out with a loud voice,“Lord, do not hold this sin against them!” When he had said this, he died.
Ps 104:29 : 29 When you ignore them, they panic. When you take away their life’s breath, they die and return to dust.
Ps 146:4 : 4 Their life’s breath departs, they return to the ground; on that day their plans die.
Job 34:14-15 : 14 If God were to set his heart on it, and gather in his spirit and his breath, 15 all flesh would perish together and human beings would return to dust.
Jas 2:14 : 14 Faith and Works Together What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but does not have works? Can this kind of faith save him?
