Verse 1

The sin of Judah is engraved with an iron chisel on their stone-hard hearts. It is inscribed with a diamond point on the horns of their altars.

Prov 3:3 : 3 Do not let mercy and truth leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.
2 Cor 3:3 : 3 revealing that you are a letter of Christ, delivered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on stone tablets but on tablets of human hearts.
Prov 7:3 : 3 Bind them on your forearm; write them on the tablet of your heart.
Hos 12:11 : 11 Is there idolatry in Gilead? Certainly its inhabitants will come to nothing! Do they sacrifice bulls in Gilgal? Surely their altars will be like stones heaped up on a plowed field!
Lev 4:17-18 : 17 and that priest must dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle some of the blood seven times before the LORD toward the front of the curtain. 18 He must put some of the blood on the horns of the altar which is before the LORD in the Meeting Tent, and all the rest of the blood he must pour out at the base of the altar of burnt offering that is at the entrance of the Meeting Tent.
Lev 4:25 : 25 Then the priest must take some of the blood of the sin offering with his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and he must pour out the rest of its blood at the base of the altar of burnt offering.
Job 19:23-24 : 23 Job’s Assurance of Vindication“O that my words were written down, O that they were written on a scroll, 24 that with an iron chisel and with lead they were engraved in a rock forever!
