Verse 12

Then they cry out– but he does not answer– because of the arrogance of the wicked.

Prov 1:28 : 28 Then they will call to me, but I will not answer; they will diligently seek me, but they will not find me.
Ps 123:3-4 : 3 Show us favor, O LORD, show us favor! For we have had our fill of humiliation, and then some. 4 We have had our fill of the taunts of the self-assured, of the contempt of the proud.
John 9:31 : 31 We know that God doesn’t listen to sinners, but if anyone is devout and does his will, God listens to him.
Isa 14:14-17 : 14 I will climb up to the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High!” 15 But you were brought down to Sheol, to the remote slopes of the Pit. 16 Those who see you stare at you, they look at you carefully, thinking:“Is this the man who shook the earth, the one who made kingdoms tremble? 17 Is this the one who made the world like a wilderness, who ruined its cities, and refused to free his prisoners so they could return home?”’
Ps 18:41 : 41 They cry out, but there is no one to help them; they cry out to the LORD, but he does not answer them.
Ps 73:6-8 : 6 Arrogance is their necklace, and violence covers them like clothing. 7 Their prosperity causes them to do wrong; their thoughts are sinful. 8 They mock and say evil things; they proudly threaten violence.
