Verse 36

For these things happened so that the scripture would be fulfilled,“Not a bone of his will be broken.”

Ps 34:20 : 20 He protects all his bones; not one of them is broken.
Num 9:12 : 12 They must not leave any of it until morning, nor break any of its bones; they must observe it in accordance with every statute of the Passover.
Exod 12:46 : 46 It must be eaten in one house; you must not bring any of the meat outside the house, and you must not break a bone of it.
John 19:28 : 28 Jesus’ Death After this Jesus, realizing that by this time everything was completed, said(in order to fulfill the scripture),“I am thirsty!”
Ps 22:14 : 14 My strength drains away like water; all my bones are dislocated; my heart is like wax; it melts away inside me.
Ps 35:10 : 10 With all my strength I will say,“O LORD, who can compare to you? You rescue the oppressed from those who try to overpower them; the oppressed and needy from those who try to rob them.”
Matt 1:22 : 22 This all happened so that what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet would be fulfilled:
John 19:24 : 24 So the soldiers said to one another,“Let’s not tear it, but throw dice to see who will get it.” This took place to fulfill the scripture that says,“They divided my garments among them, and for my clothing they threw dice.” So the soldiers did these things.
