Verse 6

They came to Joshua at the camp in Gilgal and said to him and the men of Israel,“We have come from a distant land. Make a treaty with us.”

Josh 5:10 : 10 So the Israelites camped in Gilgal and celebrated the Passover in the evening of the fourteenth day of the month in the rift valley plains of Jericho.
2 Kgs 20:14 : 14 Isaiah the prophet visited King Hezekiah and asked him,“What did these men say? Where do they come from?” Hezekiah replied,“They come from the distant land of Babylon.”
Deut 20:11-15 : 11 If it accepts your terms and submits to you, all the people found in it will become your slaves. 12 If it does not accept terms of peace but makes war with you, then you are to lay siege to it. 13 The LORD your God will deliver it over to you and you must kill every single male by the sword. 14 However, the women, little children, cattle, and anything else in the city– all its plunder– you may take for yourselves as spoil. You may take from your enemies the plunder that the LORD your God has given you. 15 This is how you are to deal with all those cities located far from you, those that do not belong to these nearby nations.
Josh 9:9 : 9 They told him,“Your subjects have come from a very distant land because of the reputation of the LORD your God, for we have heard the news about all he did in Egypt
Josh 10:43 : 43 Then Joshua and all Israel returned to the camp at Gilgal.
1 Kgs 8:41 : 41 “Foreigners, who do not belong to your people Israel, will come from a distant land because of your reputation.
