Verse 24

As he began settling his accounts, a man who owed ten thousand talents was brought to him.

1 Chr 29:7 : 7 They donated for the service of God’s temple 5,000 talents and 10,000 darics of gold, 10,000 talents of silver, 18,000 talents of bronze, and 100,000 talents of iron.
Ezra 9:6 : 6 I prayed,“O my God, I am ashamed and embarrassed to lift my face to you, my God! For our iniquities have climbed higher than our heads, and our guilt extends to the heavens.
Ps 38:4 : 4 For my sins overwhelm me; like a heavy load, they are too much for me to bear.
Ps 40:12 : 12 For innumerable dangers surround me. My sins overtake me so I am unable to see; they outnumber the hairs of my head so my strength fails me.
Ps 130:3-4 : 3 If you, O LORD, were to keep track of sins, O Lord, who could stand before you? 4 But you are willing to forgive, so that you might be honored.
Luke 7:41-42 : 41 “A certain creditor had two debtors; one owed him five hundred silver coins, and the other fifty. 42 When they could not pay, he canceled the debts of both. Now which of them will love him more?”
