Verse 2

There were those who said,“With our sons and daughters, we are many. We must obtain grain in order to eat and stay alive.”

Gen 41:57 : 57 People from every country came to Joseph in Egypt to buy grain because the famine was severe throughout the earth.
Gen 42:2 : 2 He then said,“Look, I hear that there is grain in Egypt. Go down there and buy grain for us so that we may live and not die.”
Gen 43:8 : 8 Then Judah said to his father Israel,“Send the boy with me and we will go immediately. Then we will live and not die– we and you and our little ones.
Ps 127:3-5 : 3 Yes, sons are a gift from the LORD, the fruit of the womb is a reward. 4 Sons born during one’s youth are like arrows in a warrior’s hand. 5 How blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! They will not be put to shame when they confront enemies at the city gate.
Ps 128:2-4 : 2 You will eat what you worked so hard to grow. You will be blessed and secure. 3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vine in the inner rooms of your house; your children will be like olive branches, as they sit all around your table. 4 Yes indeed, the man who fears the LORD will be blessed in this way.
Mal 2:2 : 2 If you do not listen and take seriously the need to honor my name,” says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies,“I will send judgment on you and turn your blessings into curses– indeed, I have already done so because you are not taking it to heart.
