Verse 5

The fifth time that Sanballat sent his assistant to me in this way, he had an open letter in his hand.

2 Kgs 18:26-28 : 26 Eliakim son of Hilkiah, Shebna, and Joah said to the chief adviser,“Speak to your servants in Aramaic, for we understand it. Don’t speak with us in the Judahite dialect in the hearing of the people who are on the wall.” 27 But the chief adviser said to them,“My master did not send me to speak these words only to your master and to you. His message is also for the men who sit on the wall, for they will eat their own excrement and drink their own urine along with you.” 28 The chief adviser then stood there and called out loudly in the Judahite dialect,“Listen to the message of the great king, the king of Assyria.
2 Cor 2:11 : 11 so that we may not be exploited by Satan(for we are not ignorant of his schemes).
2 Cor 11:13-15 : 13 For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is not surprising his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will correspond to their actions.
Eph 6:11 : 11 Clothe yourselves with the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.
2 Thess 2:10 : 10 and with every kind of evil deception directed against those who are perishing, because they found no place in their hearts for the truth so as to be saved.
