Verse 4

Then God met Balaam, who said to him,“I have prepared seven altars, and I have offered on each altar a bull and a ram.”

Num 23:16 : 16 Then the LORD met Balaam and put a message in his mouth and said,“Return to Balak, and speak what I tell you.”
Isa 58:3-4 : 3 They lament,‘Why don’t you notice when we fast? Why don’t you pay attention when we humble ourselves?’ Look, at the same time you fast, you satisfy your selfish desires, you oppress your workers. 4 Look, your fasting is accompanied by arguments, brawls, and fistfights. Do not fast as you do today, trying to make your voice heard in heaven.
Matt 20:12 : 12 saying,‘These last fellows worked one hour, and you have made them equal to us who bore the hardship and burning heat of the day.’
Luke 18:12 : 12 I fast twice a week; I give a tenth of everything I get.’
John 16:2 : 2 They will put you out of the synagogue, yet a time is coming when the one who kills you will think he is offering service to God.
Rom 3:27 : 27 Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded! By what principle? Of works? No, but by the principle of faith!
Eph 2:9 : 9 it is not from works, so that no one can boast.
Num 22:9 : 9 And God came to Balaam and said,“Who are these men with you?”
Num 22:20 : 20 God came to Balaam that night, and said to him,“If the men have come to call you, get up and go with them, but the word that I will say to you, that you must do.”
Num 23:1 : 1 Balaam Blesses Israel Balaam said to Balak,“Build me seven altars here, and prepare for me here seven bulls and seven rams.”
