Verse 6

May they be like the grass on the rooftops which withers before one can even pull it up,

Ps 37:2 : 2 For they will quickly dry up like grass, and wither away like plants.
Ps 92:7 : 7 When the wicked sprout up like grass, and all the evildoers glisten, it is so that they may be annihilated.
Isa 37:27 : 27 Their residents are powerless; they are terrified and ashamed. They are as short-lived as plants in the field or green vegetation. They are as short-lived as grass on the rooftops when it is scorched by the east wind.
Jer 17:5-6 : 5 Individuals Are Challenged to Put Their Trust in the Lord The LORD says,“I will put a curse on people who trust in mere human beings, who depend on mere flesh and blood for their strength, and whose hearts have turned away from the LORD. 6 They will be like a shrub in the arid rift valley. They will not experience good things even when they happen. It will be as though they were growing in the stony wastes in the wilderness, in a salt land where no one can live.
Matt 13:6 : 6 But when the sun came up, they were scorched, and because they did not have sufficient root, they withered.
