ትግርኛ መጽሓፍ ቅዱስ

ኣብ ቤተ ሳኦል ስሙ ጺባ ዝበለ ገረብ ነበረ። እዚ ናብ ዳዊት ምስ ጠሩዎ ንጉስ ነገረዎ: «ንስኻ ጺባ ኢኻ?» እሱ ምላሽ ኣተወ: «ገረብኻ እየ».

    3ንጉስ ኣለ: «እስከ ሕጂ ካብ ቤተ ሳኦል ዝተረፈ ሓደ የብሉን ኣሎ ንሱ ምሕረት ኣምላኽ ንክኣሳይዎ?» ጺባ ንንጉስ ኣለ: «ዮናታን ደኣ ሓደ ወዲ ኣሎዎ፤ ኣብ እግሮቱ ኣንካስ እዩ».

    4ንጉስ ኣለዎ: «ኣበይ ኣሎ?» ጺባ ንንጉስ ኣለ: «ኣብ ቤተ ማኪር ወዲ ኣሚኤል ኣብ ሎደባር ኣሎ».

    5እንዚ ንጉስ ዳዊት ሰደደ ካብ ሎደባር ካብ ቤተ ማኪር ወዲ ኣሚኤል ኣመጻኡዎ.

    6ሜፊቦሼት ወዲ ዮናታን ወዲ ሳኦል ንዳዊት ኣብ መጻኡ ኣብ ፊቱ ናብ ምድሪ ወደቐ ተስገደ። ዳዊት ኣለ: «ሜፊቦሼት!» እሱ መልሲ ኣተወ: «እዚኣ ገረብኻ!»

    7ዳዊት ኣለዎ: «ኣይፍራእን፤ ስለ ዮናታን ኣቦኻ ብእውነት ምሕረት ክኣሳይካ እየ፤ መሬት ኩሉ ዘለዎ ሳኦል ኣቦኻ ክመልሰልካ እየ፤ ኣብ ጠርሙይ ሕድሕድ ትበልዕ».

    8እሱ ተዋህዶ ኣለ: «ኣነ ከም ዝሞተ ከልቢ ዝኾንኩ ገረብኻ እንታይ እየ ንኽትመልከትኒ?»

    9እንዚ ንጉስ ጺባ ገረብ ሳኦል ጠርዮ ኣለዎ ከምኡ ኣለዎ: «ንወዲ ጌታኻ ዝነበረ ናብ ሳኦልን ናብ ቤቱን ዝተመለከተ ነገር ኩሉ ሃበኖ».

    10«ስለዚ ኣንተን ወዲኻን ገረባትኻን መሬቱ ንሱ ትርሕዉ፤ ፍሬኡ ትኣትዉ እንታይ ወዲ ጌታኻ ምግቢ ይበልዕ፤ ግን ሜፊቦሼት ወዲ ጌታኻ ሕድሕድ ኣብ ጠርሙይ ይበልዕ»። ጺባ ድማ ዓሰርተ ሓሙሽተ ወዲን እስራ ገረባትን ነበረዎ.

    11ጺባ ንንጉስ ኣለ: «ንጉስ ጌታይ ዝኣምረኒ ኩሉ እንተዘይ ገረብኻ ክግበር እዩ»። ንሜፊቦሼት ድማ ንጉስ ኣለ: «ከም ሓደ ካብ ወዲ ንጉስ ይበልዕ ኣብ ጠርሙይ».

    12ሜፊቦሼት ንእስተይ ወዲ ነበረዎ ስሙ ሚካ ዝበለ። ኣብ ቤተ ጺባ ዝነበሩ ኩሉ ሰባት ንሜፊቦሼት ገረባት ነበሩ.

    13ሜፊቦሼት ከምኡ ኢየሩሳሌም ተነብሮ ነበረ፤ ሕድሕድ ኣብ ጠርሙ ንንጉስ ይበልዕ ነበረ፤ ክልተ እግሮቱ ድማ ኣንካስ ነበረ.
