ኮሬስ ንጉሥ ፋርስ እንዲህ ኢዩ ዝኣረአ፦ እግዚኣብሔር አምላክ ሰማያት መንግሥታት ምድር ኩሉ ሰጠኒ፤ ኣብ ይሁዳ ዝርከብቲ ኢየሩሳሌም ቤተ መቅደሱ ንምስራሕ ኣዘዘኒ።

    3ካብ ሕዝቡ ኩሉ ኣብናትኩም ማን ኣሎ? ኣምላኩ ይርከብ ምስኡ፤ ናብ ይሁዳ ዝርከብቲ ኢየሩሳሌም ይዕርግ እናበለ ኣብ ኢየሩሳሌም ዝርከብ ቤተ መቅደስ እግዚኣብሔር አምላክ እስራኤል (እዚ እውን እሱ ኣምላክ እዩ) ይስራሕ።

    4እንታይ እንተዘይሄደ ኣብ ዝነበረሉ ቦታ ዝቆመ ማንኡ ድማ፣ ሰባት ከባቢኡ ብብርን ብወርቂን ብንብረትን ብእንስሳትን ይርዱዎ፤ ከምዚ ጨምሮ ንኣብ ኢየሩሳሌም ዝርከብ ቤተ ኣምላክ ቅርብ ፈቃደኛ ይህብዎ።

    5እዚኣ ሓላፊታት ኣቦታት ይሁዳን ብንያምን፣ ካህናትን ሌዋውያንን ከም እንዳለዉ መንፈሳቶም እግዚኣብሔር ዝነቓ ኩሉ ተነሱ፤ ኣብ ኢየሩሳሌም ዝርከብ ቤተ መቅደስ እግዚኣብሔር ንምስራሕ ክዕርጉ ኢሎም።

    6ዙሪያቶም ዝነበሩ ኩሉ እጃቶም ብብርን ብወርቂን ብንብረትን ብእንስሳትን እንተሃልዩ ብነገራት ውሑዳት ኣጸናኑ፤ ከምዚ ጨምሮ ቅርብ ፈቃደኛ እውን ሰጡ።

    7ኮሬስ ንጉሥ ድማ ዕቃታት ቤተ እግዚኣብሔር ኣውጽኦ፣ እቲ ነቡክደነጾር ካብ ኢየሩሳሌም ዝኣውጽአዮም እና ኣብ ቤተ ኣምላእታቱ ዝከየዶም እዮም ነበሩ።

    8እዛ ዕቃታት ኮሬስ ንጉሥ ፋርስ ብእጅ ሚትረዳት ገንዘብ ተቀባይ ኣውጽኦም፣ ንሼሼባጽር ኣለቃ ይሁዳ በቁጽሪ ሃበዎም።
