Iesus answered him and sayde: hence from me Sathan. For it is written: Thou shalt honour the Lorde thy God and him only serve.

Deut 6:13 : 13 But feare the Lorde thy God and serue hym, and swere by his name,
Matt 4:10 : 10 Then sayde Iesus vnto hym. Avoyd Satan. For it is writte thou shalt worshyp ye Lorde thy God and hym only shalt thou serve.
Deut 10:20 : 20 Thou shalt feare the Lorde thi God and serue him and cleaue vnto him ad swere by his name,
Luke 4:4 : 4 And Iesus answered hym sayinge: It is writte: man shall not live by breed only but by every worde of God.
Jas 4:7 : 7 Submit youre selves to god and resist the devyll and he will flye from you.
1 Pet 5:9 : 9 whom resist stedfust in the fayth remebrynge that ye do but fulfill the same affliccios which are apoynted to youre brethren that are in the worlde.
Rev 19:10 : 10 And I fell at his fete to worshyppe him. And he sayde vnto me se thou do it not. For I am thy felowe seruaunt and one of thy brethern and of them that have the testimony of Iesus. Worshyppe God. For the testymony of Iesus ys the sprete of prophesy.
Matt 16:23 : 23 Then tourned he aboute and sayde vnto Peter: come after me Satan thou offendest me because thou sauourest not godly thinges but wordly thinges
Rev 22:9 : 9 And he sayd vnto me: se thou do it not for I am thy feloweservaunt and the feloweservaunt of thy brethren the prophettes and of them which kepe the sayinges of this boke. But worshippe God.
